NTSE Karnataka 2018 Question Paper, Response Key, Paper Analysis and Cut off

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE 2018) was held on November 5, 2017and the results were released for NTSE stage 1 on February 3, 2018.

The Department of State Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has the sole authority to the

  • Result declaration of Aspirants qualified for stage II
  • Delivery of State-level NTSE Stage I test
  • Cut-off Score
  • Evaluation of Test
  • Publishing of Results and
  • Announce of Response Key

Karnataka NTSE exam includes 3 papers i.e. Mental Ability Test (MAT), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and Language Comprehension Test (LCT). Only MAT and SAT decides the final score of the aspirant while LCT is just to qualify. It does not play any role in the final score of the exam.

The Test is organized to identify the potential students amongst class 10th in order to reward them with Scholarships and other Financial Assistance in various levels of their higher education.

NTSE Karnataka 2017- 18 Question Paper

There are 3 papers which come into the category of NTSE stage I. Question paper contains 3 sections which Mental Ability Test (MAT), Language Comprehension Test (LCT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Accurate answers by the aspirants will award them 1 mark. There is no provision of negative marking in the 1st stage of NTSE Exam.

NTSE Karnataka Results 2017-18

Aspirants can download their scorecards from the official website of SCERT by filling their roll number. Here are the steps to guide you via the result download procedure:

  • Click on the NTSE RESULTS option from the notice board on the home page.
  • Download and save it for the future use. dscert.kar.nic.in/
  • Fill in your roll number. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Log onto the official website of SCERT

Your scorecard will furnish following details-

  • Aspirants’ Name
  • Sectional Marks Secured in by aspirants in LCT, MAT, & SAT
  • Aspirants’ Gender, Category & Physical Disability (if any)
  • Rank Secured
  • Total Score (MAT and SAT Marks took together)
  • Aspirants’ Roll No.
  • Aspirants’ School Name
