NLC Appointment via GATE 2018 – Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) is one of the many public companies hiring employees using GATE scores. The basic grade pay that the trainee in NLC will get Rs. 20600 – Rs. 46500. NLC will appoint 100 GATE qualified aspirants this year on the basis of their GATE scores. The Application form for the NLC Appointment via GATE 2018 will available from January 6 – 31, 2018. There will be 3 years service bond with NLC for the aspirants those who will be selected as Graduate Engineers Trainee.
A total of hundred (100) vacancies are available in various branches for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee for the year 2018. The detailed vacancy for various branches has been presented below in table:

NLC looking to hire young, dynamic and result in oriented personals for the post of Graduate Executive Trainees in different branches are given a training for twelve months (that is extendable). On completion of the training period, aspirants are posted in any unit under NLC or any of its subsidiary companies.
The trainees are acquainted with the company, its way of working, their duties and responsibilities and an extensive understanding of the post at various branches.
It is important to note that selected aspirants for the post of the Graduate Executive Trainee will need to sign a Service Agreement Bond for a value of 1,00,000 INR which entails that the selected aspirant will need to work for the organisation for an at least duration of three years posts the completion of training.
The salary for the post ranges from 20,600 INR-46,500 INR (E-2 grade) with an increment of three percent. The aspirants are provideed a handsome annual package 8.6 lakhs INR CTC per annum.
During the training duration, the Graduate Executive Trainees are paid Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (currently 107.9 % of basic pay) and Common Allowance (40% of basic pay) per month. In addition to the above, they are paid Performance Concerned Pay annually and entitled for superannuation benefit (30% of basic pay plus Dearness Allowance), free Medical treatment for self and dependents.
Employees, when posted, are also offered unfurnished residential accommodation at nominal rent at their place of posting.

Along with the B.Tech degree, the aspirant should also at least percentage of sixty for the General and OBC categories and fifty for the SC and ST categories. For PWD aspirants, the at least percentage need is also fifty.
Applicable aspirants also need to have qualifying GATE marks on the GATE scorecard (as desired by NLC).
Moreover, final year students can also apply, offered they meet the academic eligibility criteria set by the organisation. In case of selection, the aspirants then will need to submit their final mark sheet/ provisional certificate on or before 31st August 2018.

Aspirants will be shortlisted for the selection procedure based on the marks scored by them in GATE 2018, out of hundred for the further procedures including group discussions and individual interview.
The list of aspirants shortlisted for selection procedure will be published on the NLC website (www.nlcindia.com) and intimation will be sent to the shortlisted aspirants via email.
It is important to note that aspirants who have been called for individual interview must bring all their original certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopies of the same for document verification.
The final list of students selected is declared after this.
The result is declared after the group discussion and the individual interviews of the shortlisted aspirants have been organizeed.
