National Institute of Design organizes entrance examination for admission into different Under Graduate and Post Graduate design courses. The entrance examination includes two papers i.e. Prelims exam and Mains exam. Prelims exam is a pen-paper based written exam, whereas the Mains exam includes Studio Test and Individual Interview.
Total time period given to clear the exam is 3 hours. Prelims exam consists of objective questions while the Mains exam consists of Subjective questions. Participants can attempt all the questions because there is no negative marking for wrong responses. The medium of the exam is English only. The exam is held for a total of 200 marks with equal weightage for Prelims and Mains exam.
NID 2019 examination is scheduled to be organized in the 1st week of January 2019.
