NEET Post Graduate 2018 Result is expected to be announced by January 31, 2018. Aspirants can view the results on the official portal of NBE (National Board of Examinations). There is no offline releasement of the result.

NEET Post Graduate 2018 (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is an entrance exam for post-graduate medical courses conducted by NBE (National Board of Examinations). How to check Result NEET Post Graduate 2018?

NEET Post Graduate 2018 Result will be uploaded online on the official site of the NBE. The result is released in the form of the scorecard. Aspirants can check their results by entering their credentials namely Confirmation No., Testing ID and Date of Birth which is mentioned on the hall ticket alloted by NBE.

Normalization of Score for NEET Post Graduate 2018

Normalization of score comprises the percentile score which basically means the at least marks need to qualify the examination. The calculation of the percentile score is based on the participant’s percentile in the exam in relation to the marks obtained by other participants.

The process to calculate the score based on the marking scheme of the NEET Post Graduate 2018 exam is given below:

  • For un-attempted or blank responses, the student will score 0 marks.
  • For marking more than one response, the aspirant will score 0 marks.
  • For every accurate response, the aspirant will score 4 marks.
  • For each inaccurate response, -1 will be deducted.

Response Key for NEET Post Graduate 2018

NEET Post Graduate 2018 response key will be made available online by NBE (National Board of Examination) after the exams are organizeed in last week of December. In order to evaluate their own performance in the NEET Post Graduate 2018 exam, students can check with the response key online.

The examination is scheduled to be held on January 7, 2018, and so the corresponding response sheet will be made available by NBE from January 15, 2018, to January 31, 2018, via the official portal.

Merit List for NEET Post Graduate 2018

NEET Post Graduate 2018 Merit list will be prepared by NBE based on aspirant’s score in the examination. NBE is responsible for preparing the merit list for All India 50% quota seats whereas the state counseling authorities.

Tie Breaker

In case two or more aspirants have scored similar marks in this examination, the following said tiebreaker will determine the result:

  • State quota/ Private medical colleges/Deemed University/AFMS Rank: Seats are also reserved for students with state quota rank, state category rank and rural posting.
  • All India 50% quota rank: This is the overall merit position for the aspirants who have appeared in the examination and lie in the category of quota. All over India, 50% seats are reserved for MD/MS/Post-Graduate Diploma Courses 2018 admission session.
  • All India NEET-Post Graduate 2018 rank: This is the overall merit position for all the students who have appeared for NEET Post Graduate 2018 examination.
  • Student older in age will be preferred: All the important details regarding the reservation for NEET Post Graduate 2018 are as follows:
  • All India 50% quota Category Rank: 50% seats, all over India, are reserved for aspirants appearing for the NEET Post Graduate 2018 who falls in the category of SC/ST/OBC.

Cut Off for NEET Post Graduate 2018

Cut-off marks are declared by NBE (National Board of Examination), once the results are out, based on which students get admission in respective colleges. The expected date of NEET Post Graduate 2018 examination is on January 7, 2018, and the expected result date by January 31, 2018.

  • State Quota Seats: The related States / designated authority / University organizes the counseling for state quota seats as per their score in the examination.
  • Admission In Private Medical Colleges, Institutes, Universities, Deemed Universities: The counseling for aspirants to get admission in private medical colleges, institutes, universities and deemed universities are organizeed by designated counseling authority of these Private Colleges/ Institutions/ Institutes/ Universities/ Deemed Universities.
