The results for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 will be declared on June 5, 2018. The corrections can be made from May 15, 2018 to May 18, 2018. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is giving the aspirants another chance for application form correction. The examination was held on May 6, 2018.
The aspirants can only make corrections in a few fields like Date of Birth, Category, and Status of Persons with Disability. This would be the last time that CBSE is allowing the students to make corrections before the final declaration of results. Aspirants should use this last chance to make relevant corrections as no more changes will be allowed once the results are declared for NEET 2018. These corrections have to be made before 5 pm on May 18, 2018 as the link for corrections will stop functioning after that.
The response key for the examination will soon be declared by CBSE. There are some coaching centers which have announced their own response keys and the aspirants can refer to these as well to calculate their approximate scores.
The notice announced at cbseneet.nic.in states that they have received several requests by the aspirants for making various corrections in the Date of birth, category or status of Persons with the disability.
Even though there were complete instructions given to the students regarding the submission of accurate data in the application form that they submit, there have been errors in the forms and the aspirants wish to accurate that. Based on these requests, they were given a chance to make these corrections.
The application forms were only submitted after proper verification procedure. In any case, no fee will be refunded by CBSE. However, due to continuous requests, CBSE is allowing the aspirants to make changes in the above-mentioned fields once more before result declaration. They will require to pay an additional fee for corrections in each field, if eligible.
Here are the steps to be followed for making corrections in the application form for NEET 2018:
In case of a change in category, if the fee for your new category is higher than your present category, you will be required to pay the remaining fee. However, if the fee for your new category is lesser, CBSE will not make any refunds for the same.
