NCHMCT JEE 2018 Results will be declared by in the month of May 2018. It will be declared at www.nchm.nic.in and aspirants can download their scorecards after the declaration.

Normalisation of Scores of NCHMCT JEE Results 2018

Normalisation is a procedure for ensuring that students are neither advantaged nor disadvantaged by the difficulty of exams that they do for the Boards. Organizing exams in various slots mean, there will be a variation in the difficulty level of the exams. To resolve this issue, scores are normalized. To adjust this variation in difficulty level at various slots, normalization is done.

Under normalization aspirants have two types of marks:

  • Normalised marks: These are the modified marks provideed to an aspirant considering the relative difficulty of his slot compared to the difficulty of other slots of his branch.
  • Raw marks: These are the actual marks obtained by the aspirant.

If it is calculated that the slot of an aspirant is relatively easy when compared to the other slot of his branch then his normalized marks will be less than his actual marks.

But if it is calculated that the slot of the aspirant is relatively difficult than another slot of his branch then his normalized marks will be more than his actual marks.

Normalisation Formula

One of the factors used in calculating the normalization by its formula is percentile score. A percentile score of an aspirant in a board or NCHMCT JEE will tell us what percentage of aspirants have scored below that aspirant in that Board or NCHMCT JEE.

A Percentile score is a value of below which a certain percent of observations falls.

For example, the 30th percentile is the value (or score) below which 30 percent of the observations will be established.

Merit List of NCHMCT JEE 2018

NCHMCT JEE Merit List will be released online right after the releasement of the results of aspirants who have appeared for the exam. After the releasement of the result, the separate merit list will be maintained on the basis of cut-off marks.

No interview or group discussion will be organizeed at the time of admission. Only those participants who have made it to the merit list will be called in for NCHMCT JEE 2018 counseling. On the basis of marks scored in NCHMCT JEE written test the rank list will be prepared. Participants who are not applicable will be disqualified from participating in the counseling session.

The entrance examination of NCHMCT JEE 2018 has to be successfully qualified by participants to be applicable for counseling and seat allocation.

Counseling of NCHMCT JEE 2018

During the counseling process, the allocation of seats and disciplines will be done. The seats are allotted to the successful aspirants based on their performance in NCHMCT JEE 2018.

The counseling session for NCHMCT JEE 2018 begins in the fourth week of May 2018 after the declaration of the entrance test results in the third week of May 2018. There shall be three rounds of counseling. The counseling schedule will be declared along with the declaration of result.

  • The admission will be offered on the All India Rank (AIR) secured by aspirants in the written test.
  • You required checking official website of the institute in which you are applying for admission.
  • The counseling procedure will be conducted in various rounds. In the counseling procedure, aspirants have to fill their preferences of colleges for admission.
  • The details of the same will be published and also acknowledged to aspirants via e-mail.
  • Allocation of Institutions will be made as per merit (AIR) and choice of Institutions filled by the students.
  • To appear in the counseling, qualified aspirants must download the counseling call letter from the official site of NCHMCT JEE 2018.
  • After seat allocation by aspirants in their respective colleges according to their marks, participants will have to report to the allotted college to clear the admission procedure.
  • The counseling and seat allocation will be done via online procedure.
