MP BE Admission 20189 Through JEE Main

The admissions to B.E courses in Government (Aided & Autonomous), Private as well as Self-Financed institutes of Madhya Pradesh are organized via centralized online counseling procedure. A common online merit list will be allotted after choice filling and locking procedure. The counseling is based on aspirant’s rank in JEE Mains and scores in qualifying examinations. Overall, 187 institutes of the state participate in the seat Allotment procedure. Admissions are carried out as per the guidelines of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Aspirants will then have to report at the institute situated to them via online counseling for further admissions procedure and document verification. Aspirants applying for admissions will have to register online via the common application form available at the portal. Admissions will be confirmed only after document verification and payment of admissions fees.

MP BE Admission 2018 Via JEE Main Eligibility Criteria

  • The cut off will be comparatively lower than the General and OBC categories. Check CLAT Cut Off
  • The SAP/PwD aspirants will be applicable for the compensatory time of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination (40 minutes for CLAT 2018).

DTE, MP has set different admissions eligibility requirements for admissions to the institutes.

  • They should have opted for any one more subject among Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology.
  • Relaxation of 5% is given to SC/ ST aspirants in qualifying exam.
  • Aspirants must have passed Higher Secondary Examinations in Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
  • At Least qualifying marks for aspirants belonging to General and OBC category is 45%.

MP BE Admission 2018 Via JEE Main Application Procedure

Aspirants will have to register via the official website ( for admissions via JEE Mains or merit based on scores in HSC. For registration, they obligatory to fill Date of Birth, AADHAR number, and JEE Mains roll no./ class 12th roll number.

After submitting the details, aspirants will then have to add Individual, Qualification and Documents details. Registration based on JEE Mains rank will begin from June 15, 2018 (tentative) whereas for merit-based admissions will begin from July 10, 2018 (tentative). Print the finally filled in application form.

After receiving log in ID and password at the registered mobile number and email ID, they will have to log in to choice filling. A list of participating institutes along with city, discipline and college type will be displayed on the screen.

Participants can choose from many courses and institutes as they wish on their priority. They must lock the choices before logging out.

  • J & K Migrants Certificate (if eligible)
  • Domicile Certificate (if eligible)
  • JEE Mains Scorecard/ Class 12th mark sheet
  • Defence certificate (if eligible)
  • Income Certificate (if eligible)

MP BE Admission Via JEE Main Counseling & Seat Issuement Procedure

After choice filling and locking round, aspirants must pay the counseling fees. Participants must fill the choices cautiously, as they will not be able to make any alterations after fee payment. For offline payment, aspirants will have to deposit the fee at the help center. Applications fee can be paid via Credit/ Debit cards. After successful submission of the application fee, they can check the status at the official portal.

A list of issued colleges will be soon uploaded to the portal. If, aspirants obligatory to change the college, they can wait for another round of counseling. In case, aspirants are satisfied with the discipline and college-issued to them, they can take the print of the allocation letter and proceed for document verification at help centres.

Aspirants, who receive document verification slip along with the registration slip, obligatory not go for verification and straight visit the Institute for admission procedure.

MP BE Admission Via JEE Main Upgradation & Internal Discipline Sliding

In case of seats left vacant, aspirants can apply for admissions via Special round.

Aspirants can also fill the applications for change/ under gradation of discipline/ institute.

MP BE Admission 2018 Via JEE Main Cut Off

MP BE Admission 2018 Via JEE Main Seats Distribution

  • As per the horizontal reservation rules, seats will be distributed as per the following criteria:
  • Out of the total seats available, 90% of the seats will be reserved for aspirants belonging to Madhya Pradesh.
  • 5% seats will be for Indian Overseas participants and 5% will be filled as All India Quota.
