MH CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) 2018

MH CET 2018 will be organizeed by DTE Maharashtra to admit applicable aspirants to different engineering, health science, law and management courses. The online application forms can be accessed from the official website of DTE Maharashtra. MH CET 2018 is a state level test which will be organizeed in the month of May 2018.

Aspirants, if applying for Bachelor’s degree, must have passed class 12th examination from a recognised board. For Post, Graduate courses aspirants must obtain their bachelor’s degree from recognised university.

The exam for all the Under Graduate courses and Law courses will be organizeed via offline method i.e. it is a pen-paper based test. In case of MCA, topics taught in BCA will be covered.  The preparation for MH CET 2018 must be done on the basis of qualifying examination. Questions from Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry will be asked for Engineering, Pharmacy and Health Sciences of the class 12th level. Aspirants will appear for computer-based test for MBA course.

The results can be expected to be out from March 2018 onwards on the official website of MH CET. After the successful declaration of results counseling procedure will begin along with the seat allocation which will be done via Centralized Allocation Procedure.

MH CET 2017 Exam Dates

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2018

Admission to Engineering, Health Sciences and Pharmacy courses will be done on the basis of MHT CET 2018. As per earlier years’ schedule, the application form will be available in March 2018.

Aspirants must have finished their class 12 examinations in order to appear for MHT CET 2018. The exam is expected to be commenced in the second week of May 2018.

Eligibility of MHT CET 2018

MHT CET 2018 Eligibility conditions are given below. All the candidates are requested to go via them and read all the instructions before applying for MHT CET 2018.

Nationality

Aspirants must be a national of India to be applicable to apply for MHT CET 2018.

Age limit

For admission to MHT CET 2018, there is no age bar set by the authorities.

Academic Qualification

Aspirants must have passed High School Examination/ 12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination.

Application procedure for MHT CET 2018

The online application process for MHT CET 2018 will commence in the 1st week of March 2018 till last week of March 2018. The application process for MHT CET 2018 is as follows:

  • After successful registration, upload scanned copy of the Passport size photograph and signature in given dimensions.
  • Once the application status is updated, download it and take a photocopy of the MHT CET 2018 Application Form.
  • Go to the official website of MHT CET and look for ‘Registration’ link.
  • Fill the details need for online form including individual and academic details.
  • Next, download the MHT CET 2018 Bank Challan and visit the nearest SBI Bank within 48 hours.

Instructions for uploading photograph and signatures

  • The signatures must be scanned on a white paper with black ink. The signatures must not be in capital letters with a file size of less than or equal to 50 kb.
  • Recent passport size coloured photograph with light background must be uploaded and file size for the same should be 50 kb or less.

MHT CET 2018 Application Fee

The application fee for MHT CET 2018 is INR 860 (for open aspirants) and INR 660 for reservation category aspirants. Aspirants are advised to secure a copy of Bank Challan along with the clear MHT CET 2018 Application Form. The admission fee can be paid via bank challan only which must be taken to the nearest SBI Bank within 48 hours.

Hall Ticket of MHT CET 2018

The hall ticket will be available to be downloaded from the official website of MHT CET. Once the application procedure has been done clearly, the hall ticket can be obtained easily.

Exam Center of MHT CET 2018

The exam centers for MHT CET 2018 exam will be in the following cities:  Mumbai, Mumbai Sub Urban, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurga, Jalgaon, Dhule, Nandurbar, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Osmanabad, Nanded, Parbhani, Latur, Hingoli, Buldhana, Akola, Washim, Amravati, Yavatmal, Wardha, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli.

The exam centre to the aspirants will be allotted from where they have passed their HSC examination. for those who appeared for HSC exams outside Maharashtra shall appear for the exam in the division or headquarters where they have submitted their MHT CET 2018 Application Form.

Exam Format of MHT CET 2018

MHT CET 2018 will include of questions asked from qualifying exam subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The paper will be for 3 hours’ period for total 200 marks.

Result and Counseling of MHT CET 2018

MHT CET 2018 results are declared in the first week of June every year. Aspirants must download their results from the online portal by visiting the official website of MHT CET.

The counseling process and seat allocation shall begin thereafter via Centralized Allocation Procedure. An online form will be filled by the aspirants regarding their choices and according to the marks secured by them in MHT CET 2018, aspirants will be allotted the seats.

The preparation of merit list will be on the basis of marks secured by aspirants in MHT CET 2018. Aspirants will need to fill their choices in the online form according to their preference, on the basis of which, aspirants will be allowed to sit for MHT CET Counseling.

Counseling procedure will comprise Document Verification, Demand Draft of part payment of non-refundable fees, Choice filling, choice locking, and allocation of seat and admission confirmation.


MAH MBA CET 2018

Aspirants wishing to get admission to MBA courses provideed at different institutes of Maharashtra state must appear for MAH MBA CET 2018 in 1st week of March 2018. Aspirants will have to apply online for MAH MBA CET 2018 from 2nd week of February 2018. The aspirants will be considered applicable if they fulfil the following criteria:

  • Aspirants who have appeared for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2018/CAT 2017 (organizeed by IIMs)/ GMAT(organizeed by GMAC, USA)/ CMAT 2018(Organizeed by AICTE)/MAT(organizeed by AIMA)/ XAT (organizeed by XLRI)/ ATMA (organizeed by AIMS) are considered to be applicable for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
  • The aspirant must possess a bachelor’s degree in any branch with at least 50% aggregate marks.

The application procedure will begin from 2nd week of February for admission to MBA course via MAH MBA CET 2018 exam. Aspirants will have to first go via the registration procedure, for which steps have been mentioned below:

  • Click on ‘submit’ and obtain the e-receipt for future reference.
  • Go to the official website of MH CET and click on “Apply online”.
  • Next, upload the scanned copy of Photograph and Signatures
  • Click on “new registration” and enter your individual and academic details.
  • After submission of information and documents, aspirants will have to proceed to the online payment gateway pay INR 1000 (INR 800 for reserved category aspirants) via credit card/debit card or net banking.

Instructions for Scanned Documents

  • The signatures must be scanned on a white paper with black ink. The signatures must not be in capital letters with a file size of less than or equal to 50 kb.
  • Recent passport size coloured photograph with light background must be uploaded and file size for the same should be 50 kb or less.

MAH MBA CET 2018 Hall Ticket

MAH MBA CET 2018 Hall Tickets will be available from 1st week of March 2018 onwards. Aspirants who have finished the registration procedure successfully will have to visit the official website to obtain the hall ticket. Aspirants must enter valid details and check the information printed on the MAH MBA CET 2018 Hall Ticket.

MAH MBA CET 2018 Exam Format

MAH MBA CET is organizeed for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The questions are asked from four sections namely, Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension. The exam is of 200 marks and has a total of 200 multiple choice questions.  There will not be any deduction for inaccurate answers.

Results of MAH MBA CET 2018

The results for this exam will be out in last week of March 2018 (tentatively). Aspirants will have to download the results from the official website by entering registration number and password/DOB.

Counseling of MAH MBA CET 2018

The counseling process will be held via Centralized Allocation Procedure, carried out by authorities of State of Maharashtra. Aspirants will have to check the official website from time to time to be updated with the status of merit list and allocation procedure.

Aspirants whose names are mentioned in the merit list will need to fill Preference form which will be made available from the regional centre allotted to the aspirant. Aspirants without preference forms will not be allowed to sit for counseling. The Counseling Procedure comprises Document Verification, Demand Draft of part payment of non-refundable fees, Choice filling, choice locking, and allocation of seat and admission confirmation.


Law of MH CET 2018

The admission to law courses provideed by the government institutions of Maharashtra state is done on the basis of MH CET Law test. The exam helps aspirants to get admitted to five year integrated programmes as well. The application procedure for MH CET Law begins a little later i.e. in the month of May. The test is organizeed via online method only and the questions posed are of objective nature.

Eligibility of MH CET Law 2018

For 5 year integrated LLB programme

  • The aspirant must be below 18 years of age.
  • The aspirant must have finished 10+2 examinations with at least 45% aggregate marks.

For 3 year LLB programme

  • The aspirant must have finished graduation or post-graduation with at least 45% aggregate marks.
  • Lower age limit is 20 years.

Application Procedure of MH CET Law 2018

Aspirants can apply for MH CET Law 2018 from the second week of May 2018. The online portal will be open till last week of May 2018. The other details are as follows:  Exam is scheduled in the month of June 2018.

MAH MCA CET 2018

MAH MCA CET 2018 will be organizeed by State Common Cell of Maharashtra to provide admission to applicable aspirants to different government colleges for the first year or lateral second year of the MCA program.

The eligibility conditions for this program are:

  • Mathematics is a mandatory subject either in 10+2 examination or Graduation.
  • The aspirant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any branch with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent from a recognised university in India.

Application Procedure of MAH MCA CET 2018

MAH MCA CET 2018 exam is scheduled to be organizeed in June 2018. The application procedure for this exam will be commenced through online mode. the application forms can be obtained from last week of February 2018.

The registration procedure will comprise following steps:

  • Click on ‘submit’ and obtain the e-receipt for future reference.
  • Click on “new registration” and enter your individual and academic details.
  • Go to the official website of MH CET and click on “Apply online”.
  • After submission of information and documents, aspirants will have to proceed to the online payment gateway pay INR 750 (INR 550 for reserved category aspirants) via credit card/debit card or net banking.
  • Next, upload the scanned copy of Photograph and Signatures within given dimensions.

Hall Ticket of MAH MCA CET 2018

A hall ticket is a necessary document that must be carried to the exam centre to be qualified to sit for the examination. the hall tickets for MAH MCA CET 2018 will be available from 3rd week of March 2018 onwards, which can be download from the official website of DTE Maharashtra.

Exam Format of MAH MCA CET 2018

For MH MCA-CET 2017, results will be made available to aspirants from 2nd week of April 2018. Admission to MCA colleges under MAH MCA-CET will be based on Centralized Allocation Procedure (CAP) which is carried out by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra. Aspirants can download the results from the official website.

  • Aspirants whose names are mentioned in the merit list will need to fill Preference form that will be made available from the regional centre allotted to the aspirant. Aspirants without preference forms will not be allowed to sit for counseling.
  • Counseling details can be viewed by the aspirants on the official website.  
  • MAH-MCA CET 2018 score will be considered for preparing the merit list. 
  • The Counseling Procedure comprises Document Verification, Demand Draft of part payment of non-refundable fees, Choice filling, choice locking, and allocation of seat and admission confirmation.
