KMAT (Kerala Management Aptitude Test) Kerala 2018 Exam Pattern

KMAT Kerala 2018 will be organizeed in offline method i.e. pen-paper mode. The exam is scheduled for the first week of April 2018. Aspirants will have to attempt 180 questions in the time period of 3 hours.

  • 4 marks are allotted for every accurate response and there is no negative marking for this test.
  • The question paper would be objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
  • The questions for this exam is based on English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge and Contemporary Scenario.
  • KMAT Kerala 2018 would probe the basic understanding of the released syllabus by the authorities.

Aspirants who are keen in getting admissions in different government/private institutions of management in Kerala can appear for Kerala Management Admission Test (KMAT) 2018 which is held twice in a year in the month of April and November. Exam Format in Details of KMAT Kerala 2018

KMAT 2018 is organizeed offline with pen and paper by MG University at the allotted examination centers in the state. A total of 180 objective type questions will be there in the paper which are need to be solved within 3 hours.

Every correct response will lead to an increase in 4 marks. KMAT Kerala 2018 includes questions based on English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. Also, since there is no negative marking, students are advised to attempt all the questions in this test.

KMAT Kerala 2018 Exam Format for Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension

Grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms and comprehension of passages will be tested in the exam for this section. Aspirant’s understanding of the content of the given passage, picking up suitable words, expressions, phrases, synonyms must be up to the mark to pass this section of the exam.

KMAT Kerala 2018 Exam Format for Quantitative Ability

This sub-division will examine a student on how quick as well as correct he/she is when it comes to thinking. The questions might, either be in sets or personal ones.

KMAT 2018 Exam Format for Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning

The question will be more of Matriculation standards in this subdivision. Apart from this, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs and charts are some other topics which would be evaluated here. Work efficiency of students with numbers, numerical calculations, different arithmetic problems involving ratio & proportion, percentage, interest, time and speed etc. will be tested.

KMAT 2018 Exam Format for General Awareness and Contemporary Business Scenario

It will contain general awareness of students as an educated person. However, there is no exact syllabus for this but present and conventional general knowledge from past and current is needed to complete this section. 


Marking Scheme of KMAT Kerala 2018

KMAT Kerala 2018 question paper will be of 720 marks in total. There is four section in the question paper which has 180 questions in total. All the questions carry equal marks. 4 marks will be rewarded for every accurate response. Also, there will not be any negative marking.

Important Instructions of KMAT Kerala 2018

  • The aspirant is not allowed to leave the centre before the exam timings as it will lead to the cancellation of the exam.
  • Responses should be marked correctly as per the participant’s ability and knowledge by darkening the option in the OMR sheet.
  • Aspirant required to be current at the exam centre 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the KMAT 2018 examination.
  • Individual belongings like baggage are not allowed inside the centre. The centre would not be responsible for any sort of stealing or losing the belongings.
  • Aspirants will be given extra 10 minutes to read the test booklet thoroughly to avoid confusion regarding anything.
  • The aspirant is not allowed to open the exam booklet unless instructed.
  • Electronic gadgets including mobile phones, calculators or suchlike are not allowed inside the test centre.
  • Correct details must be filled in the response sheet by the participant or else there is a possibility that the result will not be evaluated.
  • The aspirant who is established guilty of any unfair means will be responsible for the disqualification of his/her candidature.
  • Entry of a student would be debarred in the centre without the alloted hall ticket in any circumstances.
