KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) Answer Key, Question Paper & Analysis 2018

Response Key for Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2018

Each subject has 16 various sets of question paper which were distinguished by codes as A1, A2, A3, A4, B1, B2, B3, B4, C1, C2, C3, C4, D1, D2, D3, D4. So, the aspirants required to check the KCET question paper code before downloading the response key and cross verifying for the score. Different coaching institutes like Allen, Expert classes and Bosco tutorials have published the KCET 2018 response key for all sets of the question paper after exam concluded on April 18 - 19.

Steps to Check KCET 2018 response key -

  1. Visit the official website of KCET i.e. kea.kar.nic.in
  2. Locate the link on the right panel of the webpage “KCET 2018 response key”
  3. Tap on that link.
  4. Enter need credentials i.e. aspirant’s name and roll number.
  5. Click on ‘Submit’ button.
  6. KCET 2018 response key will have displayed on your screen.
  7. Check and Download the responses with that to calculate KCET score.

How to challenge the KCET Response Key 2018?

Students have the opportunity to challenge the KCET Response Key 2018. Students who will not satisfied with the provisional response key can challenge the responses printed on the response key.

Aspirants who have objections to the published response key for KCET 2018 can raise objections within the given time. Generally, a time span of three to four days is given to aspirants to raise their objections.

  • They must next mail this to the Director KEA, Bangalore.
  • To raise objections, aspirants must first gather the proof supporting their claim.
  • The committee will look into the objections and decide the course of action.
  • The judgment of the KEA is final and binding.
  • They must mention their name, KCET 2018 Roll No and Address in the request and send it before the stipulated dates.
  • Aspirants must remember to put in a written request underlying their objections via email or other means as mentioned above.
  • They can do so via Email at keauthority-ka@nic.in or send the documents by speed post or hand it over in person.

How to Calculate Marks of KCET 2018?

Once the Karnataka CET 2018 organizes KCET 2018, response keys will be announced after the examination. Students who have appeared in the exam can check the keys and solutions to know which responses they have marked correctly and which incorrectly.

  • View the response keys and check against your question paper.
  • There is no negative mark for the wrong response.
  • +1 marks are given for each accurate response.
  • Thus, simply see how many responses you have marked correctly. That is your marks in the exam –
  • 0 mark is given for multiple responses marked.

  • The question papers for both the subjects will be objective type in 16 various versions where aspirants will have 4 various options.

  • Biology, as well as Mathematics papers, will be organizeed for 60 marks separately and the time granted to resolve each paper is 80 minutes.

  • There could be few new and a bit confusing question types in the physics section for aspirants.
  • Each question in both KCET papers will carry 1 mark.
  • The difficulty level of the physics question paper might be quite high.

Cut Off from Karnataka Common Entrance Test  2018

Karnataka Examination Authority is responsible for releasing KCET 2018 cutoff for admissions of aspirants to the affiliated institutions. It must be noted that the KCET cutoff 2018 will vary from various institute to institute as per aspirants’ category. The cutoff is basically the closing rank where admission in a particular college, as per the discipline and category shall be closed.
