KCET Result 2019 will be declared in May 2019 on the official website. Aspirants can check their KCET 2019 Result by logging onto the result portal using their registration number. The result will include the ranks and scores obtained by aspirants.

Those who qualify KCET 2019 exam can participate in the Counseling round for admission in different Engineering colleges in Karnataka. The seat allocation procedure is expected to begin from June 2019.

How to Check KCET 2019 Result?

KCET 2019 exam is scheduled to take place in April 2019. Steps to check KCET 2019 result are as follows: KCET 2019 Result will be declared in May 2019 on KCET official website. Once the exam is organized, response keys for the same will be made available in June 2019.

  • Aspirants must offer their registration number & then click the submit button
  • Aspirants must download & take a printout of their KCET Result 2019.

  • Aspirants rank will be displayed along with their score in KCET

Aspirants will also be notified about KCET Result 2019 on their registered mobile numbers. In order to download personal rank cards, the aspirants will have to log in to their accounts. However, personal rank cards will not be sent to the aspirants.

Response Key of KCET 2019

The official KCET 2019 Response Key will be announced on the KCET official website just before the declaration of result and after the commencement of exam. KCET 2019 Merit List

Aspirants who appear in KCET should note that scores will be considered while preparing KCET Merit List. If two aspirants score the same marks, tiebreaker policy will be used to calculate the rank of the aspirant. Aspirants who score the at least need marks in each subject and as well as the aggregate marks will be comprised of the rank list.

Aspirants will be invited for KCET 2019 Counseling on the basis of the KCET 2019 Merit List. The seat allocation will take place according to the merit list.

There will be 5 various KCET 2019 Merit Lists which will be various for each course. The 5 various merit lists are as follows:

  2. KCET 2018 Ayurveda merit list

KCET 2019 Tie Breaker Policy

If two or more aspirants score the same marks in KCET 2019, the tie-breaker policy is used for ranking. The rank will be based on the higher marks scored in Mathematics by aspirants. If still, the rank doesn’t change, the same rank will be honored to both or more aspirants who have scored same marks. If still the same rank arrives, the Physics section’s marks will be preferred for ranking.

KCET 2019 Cut Off

KCET Cut Off is available only after the counseling and admission procedure is over. KCET 2019 Cut Off will be the at least marks need for admission to institutes of Karnataka providing B.Tech programmes. KCET 2019 Cut Off will be dependent on the following factors:

  • Availability of seats
  • Difficulty level of the KCET exam
  • Aspirants who appeared in the test

Counseling for KCET 2019

KCET 2019 Counseling needs to be attended by the students in the order of the KCET merit list. Aspirants have to appear for the counseling for different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It should be noted that KCET Counseling is organized in both online and offline methods.

  • Aspirants will have to visit the issued institute for reporting along with necessary documents for the purpose of document verification.
  • Aspirants will be invited for KCET 2019 Counseling on the basis of their score in the exam.
  • KCET counseling procedure comprises preference of colleges and courses, document verification and finally seat allocation process.
  • The selected aspirants will be situated seats in the seat allocation process of KCET 2019 based on their ranking in the merit list and selection of college and courses.
