Karnataka PGCET (PG Common Entrance Test) is a state level exam organizeed by KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority). It is held for admitting candidates into different full-time and part-time Post Graduate courses provideed by the affiliated institutes across the state.

In case a candidate finds a discrepancy or mistake in the question paper or response key, they can register their objections regarding the key within the stipulated time. Students can send their objections along with justification supporting their claim to ‘Executive Director, Karnataka Examination Authority, Bangalore’ in person or by mail/ speed post. Tie-breaking Criteria:
In case two or more applicants secure same marks, then the following criteria will be used to resolve ties in Karnataka PGCET 2018 and determine the merit position of the personals in the descending order-
Karnataka PGCET 2018 Counseling will be held from the 1st week of August 2018 by KEA. Students short-listed via the merit list must attend the counseling rounds according to this schedule, in order of merit. The schedule for counseling will be uploaded on the official website of the exam authority. Karnataka PGCET 2018 Counseling will consist of 5 steps.

Step 1: Online Registration
Candidates who will qualify Karnataka PGCET 2018 will be applicable for counseling. Aspirants will have to report to the closest Helpline Center to register themselves.
Step 2: Verification of Documents
After registration, candidates will have to proceed to the verification counter where they will have to submit original along with a set photocopy of documents. Once the person is deemed applicable he will be given a verification slip and a confidential key which will have login details about the online option form.
Step 3: Filling of Preference Form
Students must log in using the details on the high-security key to filling the preference form. The aspirant can fill the preference form by referring to this list according to the college and course they wish to pursue. They can apply for multiple colleges and courses offered they are applicable for the same. KEA will publish a list that will comprise a number of participating colleges, courses provideed and available seats.
Step 4: Seat Allocation
Participants will be allotted seats as per ranks earned in Karnataka PGCET 2018, preferences of college and course. The details regarding the process of seat allocation will be given in Karnataka PGCET 2018 brochure.
Step 5: Reporting to the allotted College
Aspirants must report to the allotted college for completing all the admission formalities and payment of fees.
