Eligibility of Karnataka PGCET 2018

There are certain eligibility requirements which must be fulfilled by aspirants to successfully appear for the exam. Before applying for Karnataka PGCET 2018, aspirants must go via the conditions given below:

  • Aspirants should hold a valid certificate proving their domicile of Karnataka state.
  • Aspirants must hold graduate degree or equivalent with 50% marks (45% for QE for SC/ST & Category I of Karnataka aspirants).
  • Participant having valid GATE score must not appear in the test. They can apply for the admission separately.
  • Aspirants of the states other than Karnataka state are applying for admission into MBA/MCA seats.

Application Form of Karnataka PGCET 2018

Karnataka PGCET 2018 Application form will be available in the month of July 2018. Aspirants who seeking to appear for Karnataka PGCET must successfully submit their form well before the last date. Aspirants can avail the application form via online method only. The application procedure will go on for approximately one month.

Karnataka PGCET 2018 Application Form is divided into two phases. In the first phase, aspirants have to fill all the need details. Aspirants can edit or delete the information offered. After confirming, aspirants cannot edit the application form. In the second phase, the aspirants will have to confirm the information offered, if the offered information is accurate or not.

Registration

  • Go to the ‘New User? Register here’ tab.
  • Fill the need details such as Name, Gender, Contact Details, etc.
  • You will then receive a User ID and Password on the email ID and mobile number offered by them.
  • Visit the official website of Karnataka PGCET

Filling in the Application Form

  • Click on Save and Next.
  • Fill in the individual details, academic details and contact details in the given form said as ‘Student Information Page.’
  • Now login to their account using the credentials offered at the time of registration.

Uploading Need Documents

  • Aspirants must keep scanned copies of their latest coloured photograph, signature, parent signature and their left thumb impression.
  • Upload the above-mentioned documents in JPG/JPEG pattern.
  • and select on “save and next” button.
  • Click on next. A declaration page will appear on the screen, aspirants must read the declaration and then submit Karnataka PGCET 2018 Application Form.

Application Fee Payment

  • To clear the payment, aspirants must select the bank challan and take a print out of the same.
  • General category aspirants must pay INR 650 while reserved category aspirants shall pay INR 500 as application fee.
  • Retain a proof of the payment for any future references.
  • After filling Karnataka PGCET 2018 Application Form, take a print out for future references.
  • The payment can be made via any discipline of the specified bank. Aspirants will be given two copies of the challan after the payment is finished, and one copy will be retained by the bank itself.
