The normalization score for the final IRMA 2018 merit list will be determined on the basis of CAT 2016/XAT 2017 score, ISC score, GD and PI score. Aspirants can follow these steps to evaluate their normalized score.
Step 1. CAT Score = C (out of 300)
XAT Score = X (out of 78)
Modified CAT Score = (C/300).160 =w1
Modified XAT Score = (X/78).160 =w1
Select maximum of either Modified CAT Score or Modified XAT Score
If aspirant has appeared only in CAT or XAT then Modified CAT Score or the Modified XAT Score would be considered
Step 2. W1 + ISC score = W2
ISC score is obtained out of 40.
Hence the maximum possible marks for W2 becomes 160+40=200.
Step 3. W3 = (W2/200).50
Step 4. Normalized PI marks = Normalized Score of PI panels
Normalized GA marks = Normalized Score of GA panels
Step 5. W4 = Normalized PI marks + Normalized GA marks
Maximum marks of PI is 25
Maximum marks of GA is 25
Maximum marks possible for W4 is 50
Step 6. Overall marks = W3 + W4
Maximum Marks possible is 100.
