IPR Appointment via GATE 2018- IPR (Institute for Plasma Research) will soon announce notification and application form for hiring via GATE 2018. IPR hires Technical Trainees from the fields of Mechanical and Electrical engineering.
The aspirants who have passed B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or have finished M.Sc. in Physics are applicable to apply for the post provided. The aspirants have to fill an online application for IPR appointment via GATE 2018. The salary provided to the appointed aspirants ranges between INR 15600- INR 39100.
Institute for Plasma Research or IPR is a Research and Development organization which works autonomously.It is under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.It is located in Gujarat, India.This institute works in the theoretical and experimental studies of plasma sciences.
IPR has not announced any specific vacancy for the post provided. However, the aspirants are selected from Mechanical and Electrical streams.
The chosen participants will be required to carry out a service agreement bond of Rs. 80,000/- (Rs. 20,000/- for aspirants belonging to SC/ST categories and PwDs) to cater the company for minimum 3 years after completing the training successfully.
The aspirants who get selected for the technical trainee posts are given a stipend of Rs.25000 monthly and a one-time book allowance of Rs.22000. Once the training is successfully finished by the aspirants, they are recruited as Scientists or Engineers at IPR with a basic pay of Rs. 21000 in the Pay Band–3 (i.e. 15600-39100) and Grade Pay of`5400/-(Gross Pay 48930/-p.m.)
Once the aspirant has successfully finished the training program, they will need to execute a bond for Rs. 2.05 lakhs and the aspirant will have to cater the IPR for a period of at least 2 years under this bond.
The organization has published the notification for vacancies and appointment procedure for this year. The GATE score is valid for three years. However, in order to be applicable to apply for the post, one has to complete the GATE. Aspirants can apply online from May 16, 2017 until May 27, 2018.

Participants working in Central/ State Government Units/ PSUs/Government Aided Institutions may apply with due permission from their respective competent authorities.Such aspirants if called for individual interview are need to submit No Objection Certificate at the time of individual interview.
The fee is paid via online payment methods via Internet Banking of State Bank of India or via Credit or Debit Card.The print out of the receipt of the payment must be enclosed with the application form while sending it as a proof of payment.
The aspirant must be Graduate Engineers or M.Sc Physics to apply for the post of Technical Trainees.The detailed eligibility is as follows
Those having M.Sc.(by research), M.Tech or Ph.D. are not applicable.
The post is applicable to aspirants only with Indian nationality.
The reserved category aspirants have a benefit in the upper limit of age.The general category aspirants must not be older than 26 years while the other category aspirants, for example of SC/ST/OBC/PHP get an age relaxation which is according to the rules set by the Government of India.
Within about two-three weeks of the declaration of the list of shortlisted aspirants for the interview, the aspirants are called for individual interview. The selected aspirants after the preparation of the merit list are shortlisted for individual interview.
The list of aspirants selected for the individual interview shall be uploaded on the website. The final selection of the aspirants is on the basis of the performance of the aspirant in the individual interview subject to medical fitness.
The aspirants who have completed their GATE in the year 2018 are applicable to the post.The scores of GATE 2017 or any earlier year shall not be considered by the organization.The aspirants are selected on the basis of the GATE score and a merit list is prepared.
