IMU CET Exam Pattern 2018

IMU CET is the famous name for Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test. Indian Maritime University is a central university providing quality education in the field of maritime.

  • It is a computer based online entrance test.
  • Questions are asked form General aptitude, General Knowledge, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • The level of the examination is 12th standard (10+2) for Under Graduate courses.

Marking Scheme of IMU CET 2018

These rules are followed while checking the responses of IMU CET exam:

  • There is no negative marking for inaccurate answers.
  • Same marking scheme is followed in all the subjects.
  • Questions left unresponded are not procedures.
  • Only multiple-choice question is there, no special type of questions are asked.
  • Each question carries one mark, which is honoured for accurate response.
  • Three hours is the maximum time to attempt the question Paper.
  • There are total 200 questions in the paper.

These things should be known to an aspirant sitting for IMU CET:

  • Aspirants should click on β€˜save’ to save the response to the question and then got to the next question.
  • In case of any problem with the computer system, the student should contact the examiner immediately.
  • The test is an online test, so no time can be given additionally to any aspirant.
  • Sheets and papers for rough work are not allowed in the examination hall.
  • The aspirant can change his/her response, going back to the question by click on the question number from the left panel.
  • By clicking on the question paper button, aspirants are able to view all the problems.
  • Electronic gadgets like pagers, phones and calculators are not allowed in the exam centre.
