  • Indian Engineering Services (IES) is a national level test for appointment of aspirants to different engineering jobs.
  • Aspirants can log into the official website of UPSC and can reach the results after it.
  • Result for the prelim exam is available in the 1st week of January and for the Main exam, it is declared in the month of August.
  • Seats will be allotted on the basis of marks scores in IES 2019 as well as the selection rounds.

IES Result 2019 Important Dates

UPSC releases the results for IES every year in the 1st week of January 2019 for the prelim round and the further admission procedure is followed by it. Here are few important dates for the exam-

IES 2019 How to Check Results:

IES Result can be easily accessed after entering your login ID and Password. Step-wise procedure to obtain IES 2019 results is given as follows-

  • Log onto the official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in
  • Click on the link which says β€œEngineering Service Examination 2019”.
  • Choose the EXAMINATION option from the panel above. Click on the ACTIVE EXAMINATION option that comes in the drop-down list.
  • Click control + F at once and enter your roll number and search for your marks.
  • Click on the link and then it will open in a new window in PDF pattern
  • The results can be downloaded by clicking download on the right-hand upper corner

Aspirants should make note that there is NO scorecard announced by the organizing body.

IES Response Key 2019

Aspirants can download the official response key from the official website of Union Public service commission as UPSC RELEASES the response keys for the engineering service examination.

Following are the steps to download it-

  • All the subjects and papers will be listed with a link to redirect.
  • Year wise Examination Response Key will be listed on the page
  • Log onto the official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in
  • Aspirants can click on the link to the respective papers to view and download the response key.
  • Check β€œEngineering Services Examination 2019”
  • Chose the EXAMINATION option from the panel above. Click on the ANSWER KEY option that comes in the drop-down list.

IES Expected CUTOFF 2019

Cutoff scores for IES 2019 will be prepared by the Union Public Service Commission and can be checked online via the website.

Aspirants obtaining the at least need cutoff marks will be shortlisted for the next round. After the releasement of the IES Result 2019, the cutoff marks will be announced by UPSC.

The shortlisted aspirants then appear for individual interview rounds. The table below represents the expected IES Cut off.

Merit List for IES 2019

IES 2018 Merit List will be prepared and declared by UPSC on its official website. The merit list will be based on the total marks secured by the participants in both Preliminary and Mains Examination.

On the basis of the total, the eligibility for the Individuality Test (Interview) will be determined.
