IBPS RRB CWE 2018

The Institute of Banking Personnel or IBPS has been organizing Common Written Test (CWE) for the Regional Rural Bank (RRB) since the year 2011. The CWE is organized to appoint in the post of Officers Scale I, II and III and Office Assistants. The main aspiration for this employment is to enhance the human resource and financial development in the rural areas.

IBPS RRB CWE exam is generally divided into three levels: Preliminary, Main and Single assessment. After successful submission of Application form IBPS RRB Hall Ticket will be announced on the official website of IBPS, www.ibps.in, 15 days before the commencement of exam. The preliminary round of exam is organized especially for the officer's Scale I and for the Office Assistant. On the other hand, there is only one round of examination organized for the other scales. The exam will be held in the month of November and result of IBPS RRB will be out in December.

After IBPS CWT Result 2018

  • The interview session is the final selection round for the officers of various scale, whereas, for the Office Assistants the only the preliminary and main exam is organized.
  • An interview is organized only for the Scale I, II and III officers by Nodal Regional Rural Banks in collaboration with NABARD and IBPS.
  • Once the aspirants are shortlisted on the basis of the at least marks scored the call letters are dispatched by the authority.
  • The 80:20 proportions are maintained between the CWE and the interview correspondingly.
  • Aspirants who qualified the Common Written Test (CWT) are applicable for the verbal interview round or VIVA.

Post the interview round come the provisional allocation where the identity of the aspirant is verified and then comes the final allocation which is done on the basis of the merit list. The form for the upcoming IBPS RRB 2018 will be out by the October 2018.

Important Dates for IBPS RRB 2018 Exam

The IBPS RRB examination is organized for the posts of Officer Scale I, II and III and Office Assistants. Aspirants qualified in this round are applicable for the other rounds. The examination has various categories including Preliminary, Main, and Single. The Preliminary and Main is eligible for the designation of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants and single examination is conducted for the rest of the scale.

IBPS RRB 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Similar to the last serial of years the eligibility criteria of IBPS 2018 is more or less same. It has different segments on the basis of which eligibility of the aspirant is determined. Below, is the detailed account of the eligibility criteria of the basis of various categories:

Nationality

The aspirants must be the citizen of any of the following country said below:

  • An immigrant from Tibet.
  • Nepal
  • Bhutan
  • India
  • Migrated from the neighboring countries like Pakistan or any South African countries like Uganda, Malawi, Kenya with the purpose settling in India.

Educational Qualification

The education eligibility criteria are same for all designation. The at least eligibility marks for the aspirants is 50%. Bachelor’s degrees from any recognised universities or any other equivalent in any streams are allowed sitting for the entrance but special preferences are given in certain steams.

Age criteria and relaxation

The Age terms and conditions are various for various designation. As per 01.09.2018, the age of the aspirant will be:

  • 18-30 years – Scale I Officer
  • 18-28 years – Office Assistant (Multi-tasking staff)
  • 21-32 years – Scale II Officer
  • 21-40 years – Scale III Officer

The relaxation is also vary based on the category of the person:

IBPS RRB 2018 How to Apply?

Similar to the last couple of years the application form, for this year will also be available online. The form will be available online on the official site of IBPS under the heading CWE RRB. Aspirants who seekings to appear for Scale I officer and Office Assistant have to fill a single form for both Preliminary and Main Entrance. Aspirants can apply only for one post at a time.

Guidance regarding filling of the application form

IBPS RRB 2018 Application form is expected to be available online around the month of August to September. The documents required to be enclosed at the time of the submission of the registration form are the scanned copy of a passport size photograph and full signature. To prevent the cancellation of the form, aspirants must fill the form very cautiously and check it thoroughly post filling.

Other steps involved in the whole process are as follows:

IBPS RRB Hall Ticket 2018

IBPS RRB 2018 Hall Ticket will be available on the official site of IBPS 15 days before the commencement of exam. The exam center, date, time and venue are given in the hall tickets. Admit cards for the Preliminary exam will be given around the mid-week of August 2018. On the other hand, hall tickets for main and single entrance will be given around mid-week of September 2018.

  • Enter the password or you can also enter your Date of Birth

Exam Format for IBPS RRB 2018

IBPS CWE RRB 2018 Exam Format for various posts is different. The preliminary examination is generally based on reasoning and quantitative aptitude. The medium of examinations is either Hindi or English. The single exam and the main exam will be held on the Computer, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English and Financial awareness.

Cut Off for IBPS RRB 2018

The expected cut off for IBPS CWE RRB 2018 depends on the sectional and state-wise cutoff. Aspirants who are able to score an at least just to touch the cut off marks are shortlisted for the call letter and other selection processes.

  • Your result is willing to download

The aspirants are only applicable for receiving the call letter only if he/she qualifies the CWE round and the levels. Aspirant will have to successfully crack the final interview round to be selected as an IBPS RRB officer. After receiving the call letter the aspirants will get the chance to attend the interview session. The call letter comprises the detail of the interview center and documents need at the time of interview.
