The final Result of IAS 2018 will be declared in April 2018. aspirants can reach them from the official website, to be downloaded as PDF file. Aspirants who will secure the qualifying marks in the exam of IAS will be declared qualified for the Interview. The IAS Result 2018 will contain the roll numbers of aspirants who will be qualified for Interview.
The IAS 2018 Scorecard of aspirants who will not qualify the exam will be announced within 15 days from the date of declaration of final result of IAS. The IAS 2018 Cutoff of the mains exam will be published after the appointment procedure is clear.
The final result will be declared on the basis of the marks obtained by the aspirants in the written exam and interview/individuality test. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will declare the final IAS Result in April 2018.

The Result of IAS 2018 will be declared in the following three stages.
Prelims are the first stage of selection. The result of IAS Prelims Exam will be declared in the month of October. The aspirants who qualify the Prelims are allowed to appear for the Mains exam. The marks of this test are not counted in the final score, this is just a qualifying test.
Those who qualify for the IAS 2018 Prelims will sit for the next stage examination, i.e. IAS 2018 Mains. On the basis of the marks obtained by the aspirants in the IAS Mains Exam 2018, they are called for the Interview. The result of which will be declared in the month of February 2018.
UPSC will declare the final result on the basis of the marks obtained by the aspirants in the IAS 2018 Mains Exam and Interview. The aspirants who secure the highest mark out of the aggregate marks will be declared topper of IAS Exam. The Individuality Test/ Interview of IAS Exam 2017 is scheduled to be held in the month of March 2018. The Final Result of IAS is expected to be announced in the month of April 2018.

Aspirants required to login with the unique id and password that they received during registration to check the result. The mark sheet/scorecard of IAS 2018 will display the following details
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will announce the Merit List of Civil Services Mains Examination in January 2018. All the aspirants who appeared for the mains examination will have to log in using their Roll Number and Date of Birth or the unique id and password that was generated during registration. The IAS Merit List 2018 will consist of the marks obtained by aspirants in all sections and the total aggregate marks secured by them in the mains exam.

UPSC will also release the final IAS Cutoff along with the scorecard/merit list. Aspirants can check the expected cutoff for IAS 2018 as given below. The cutoff is the at least score set by the organizing authority for all the aspirants. Aspirants who score equal or more marks as per the specified cutoff score will be declared as qualified.

Final round after the prelims and the mains exam will be interview on the basis of which the final selection is done. The final merit list comprises the marks of the mains exam and the interview, keeping in view of which the counselling is done.
Marks thus obtained by the aspirants in the Main Examination (written part as well as interview) would determine their final ranking.
