BCECE is organizeed in two stages Stage - 1 and Stage – 2. Candidates should have passed class 12th examination from a recognised board of the country, with science stream as an at least eligibility criterion.
BCECE 2019 will be organizeed separately for various subject combinations namely, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology). Also, the exam format differs in both the stages.

BCECE 2019 will be organizeed in 2 stages i.e. Stage-1 and Stage-2. Aspirants who complete Stage-1 can only appear for the Stage-2 exam.
Each stage includes four sections (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology). The exam will be organizeed separately for various sets of subjects’ combination, which are PCB for medical stream aspirants, PCM for engineering & technology streams and PCMB for students aspiring to pursue a course in agriculture.
The syllabus will be same as the one announced by BCECE for class 12th examination. Any further addition of topics or elimination of topics will be indicated by BCECE in the official syllabus. All aspirants need to study from the chapter-wise syllabus for each subject, announced by the admission authority.
Stage 1 examination will be held in the 3rd week of April 2019. The examination format for the exam is mentioned below.

There will be 150 questions in BCECE Stage 1 question paper, of total 600 marks. Each section will carry 200 marks, where 4 marks will be honoured for every accurate response and one marks will be deducted for every inaccurate response.
For students appearing in PCMB exam, there will be 200 questions for a total of 800 marks.

BCECE Stage 2 question paper will be for a total of 1200 marks. The exam will be organizeed separately for all the subjects. Each subject examination will contain 100 questions of total 400 marks. Students will be honoured 4 marks for each accurate response and one mark will be deducted from his/her total score for every wrong response.
