DNB (Diplomate of National Board) CET 2018 Application Form

DNB CET 2018 Application Form will be available in September 2017 for the January session and in April 2018 for the July session.

  • Aspirants must be registered with State Medical Council.
  • Aspirants required to open the official website www.cet.natboard.edu.in and register.
  • DNB CET is organizeed twice a year, once in the month of January and the other in July.
  • An application fee of INR 4500 is eligible.
  • Since the exam is organizeed twice a year so aspirants can choose the session they seeking to apply for.
  • The aspirant should have either an MBBS degree or minimum MD or MS degree from a recognised medical college or university.
  • There is no option for form correction once DNB CET 2018 Application Form is submitted.

The admission to courses DNB CET caters to are all medical based courses. The programs provideed are all three years courses. The institutions, medical colleges and hospitals that extend admission via DNB CET are affiliated to NBE.

Eligibility for DNB CET 2018

There are certain criteria that a person required to meet before applying for DNB CET examination. The below are the details:

  • Aspirants must be Indian nationals.
  • The membership id is compulsory to apply for the exam.
  • Medical final year students are also applicable to apply.
  • The aspirant should have either an MBBS degree or minimum MD or MS degree from a recognised medical college or university.
  • Aspirants having a postgraduate degree in medicine along with a provisional certificate for the same by end of 2017 are applicable to apply for DNB CET 2018 examination.
  • Aspirants also required to clear one year of internship before applying.
  • Participant must clear three years rotatory training by end of 2017 in order to apply for 2018 DNB CET entrance test.
  • Aspirants must be registered with State Medical Council.

How to Fill DNB CET 2018 Application Form?

Aspirants interested to apply for DNB CET 2018 have to visit the official website in order to apply for the entrance test. The application form available is an online method and aspirants cannot apply for the same via offline mode. Below are the few simple steps which will give aspirants an idea as to how to apply for the exam.

Step 1: Registration

  • The new aspirant link will help participants register.
  • Aspirants must remember that the registration procedure also requires state medical council registration id.
  • Aspirants required to open the official website www.cet.natboard.edu.in and register.
  • Aspirants need to click on the admission link 2018-2019.
  • The user id and password are created post registering.

Step 2: Filling Details

  • Once the form is filled, aspirant required to save the same and click on the browse option to upload a passport size photo.
  • This will redirect to the payment page.
  • Post uploading the photo in jpeg pattern participant required to click submit button.
  • Since the exam is organizeed twice a year so aspirants can choose the session they seeking to apply for.
  • Aspirants can choose up to two exam centres so that either of the centres is allotted.
  • All details must be filled with caution to avoid unnecessary modifications.
  • Once the centre is allotted it cannot be changed.

Step 3: Payment

  • Aspirants are requested to make a note that it is not necessary that a successful application form will ensure a hall ticket for the exam.
  • An application fee of INR 4500 is eligible.
  • As soon as the payment is initiated a confirmation page will open.
  • Aspirants can either save this page in pdf pattern to take the print out later or one can download the confirmation page and take the print out for future procedures.
  • Post submission of the duly filled application form, the same is reviewed and verified by the council.
  • The payment can be initiated via credit card, debit card or net banking facility.

Application Form Correction of DNB CET 2018 Application Form

There is no option for form correction once DNB CET 2018 Application Form is submitted. One can preview the application form after filling it up to avoid errors. It can also be previewed and saved and can be submitted later. So, participants are advised that they should save the filled application form and keep all details handy to ensure that the form filling procedure is seamless.

It is also important to understand that in case of any discrepancy, the council has the authority to cancel DNB CET 2018 Application Form for a particular aspirant. In case a participant forgets the password, the same can be retrieved via the registered email address or mobile number. Under such situations, the application fee will not be refunded back to the participant.

Q1.Should an aspirant be allowed to select the exam centre?

Yes, aspirants will be given liberty to choose exam centre from the available list. However, once exam centre is selected and the application is submitted, the participant cannot cancel or reschedule it. The list of test centre is available at www.cet.natboard.edu.in

Q2. How many times is DNB CET organizeed in a year?

It is organizeed twice a year, once in January and another in July.

Q3. How many attempts can an aspirant make in a year?

A participant can apply for the exam only once in a year. If, the cut off marks are not satisfactory then aspirant required to wait for the next year to re-apply again.

Q4. Can I use someone elseโ€™s email address?

Aspirants must have their own valid email address in order to register for the exam. All communications are made to the email address offered so maintaining sanctity is essential on that.

Q5. What is the exam fee?

The exam fee is 4500 INR for the exam. The amount is same for all category students.

Q6. Can I appear for the exam from home?

It is compulsory for aspirants to access the exam centre at the mentioned date and time. He or she required taking the test on the assigned computer in the centre itself. The entire exam process will be under strict monitoring of the authorized personnel of the council.
