DNB CET 2018 Results for the July session will be declared around July 30, 3018 by National Board of Examinations (NBE). Participants can download their DNB CET result by accessing their registered login accounts from the official website www.nbe.edu.in.
DNB CET 2018 is a qualifying-cum-entrance examination for admission into different Postgraduate courses conducted bi-annually by NBE.

DNB CET 2018 Results will be released on July 30, 2018 on the official NBE website. It should be noted that the NBE does not publish the question paper and response key of the test as DNB CET is an online exam. The organizing authority is not responsible to send the scorecard to any participant by post. Candidates can log on to their registered accounts to check their result and save their mark sheet-cum-result certificate. The result can be accessed online by following these few easy steps:
The results will be available to the candidates in the form of mark sheet-cum-result certificates. It is the sole responsibility of each aspirant to keep a hard copy of the scorecard need for the admission procedure. DNB CET 2018 Score Card will contain basic information about the aspirant and his result. The scorecards will be valid only for the ongoing academic session and cannot be used for the next exam session. The details mentioned in the scorecard are:
A standard psychometrically-sound-approach is used for calculating the scores of aspirants in DNB CET 2018 to maintain fairness in results. Equating is a procedure via which differences in the difficulty level of various question papers are adjusted so that aspirants’ performance can be measured on a common metric scale. This approach is utilized to score all kind of large-scale Computer-based Examination that are organized using multiple question papers. The equating procedure used for the exam is explained below:
DNB CET 2018 Merit List will be published online by NBE, New Delhi. The merit list will contain names of aspirants in order of merit and ranks secured by them in DNB CET 2018. Aspirants will have to attend counselling sessions as per their rank in the merit list and schedule allotted to them. Candidates who complete the cut off percentile will be shortlisted and called for further rounds of admission.
In case when two or more candidates secure same marks, then the following tie-breaker criteria will be used to determine the merit position of the personals in the descending order:-
The cutoff score for DNB CET will be as decided by the governing body of NBE, New Delhi. It comprises the number of candidates that appear for the exam, difficulty level of exam question booklet, marking scheme, a number of seats available in the institution category wise as also the cut-off marks for the earlier academic year. There are different factors responsible for deciding the cut-off score. The names of the aspirants who score equal to or more than the cutoff score will appear in the merit list and will be applicable for counselling. The cut-off score will be in the form of at least marks to be secured by each category. The at least cut-off necessary in the DNB CET 2018 to qualify the exam is: Cut-off is the at least score need by participants to appear in the merit list and get short-listed for DNB CET 2018 counselling rounds.

Admission to all Post Graduate courses will be based on merit only. The third round of counselling may also be held if required arises. It will be organized in 2 rounds and an extended 2nd round. DNB CET 2018 Counselling for different programs will begin in the 1st week of October 2018.
The schedule for DNB CET 2018 Counseling will be uploaded on the website. Personals must attend counselling according to this schedule, in order of ranks secured by them. Counseling will take place in the following method: Candidates who qualify the exam and whose name appears in the merit list will be applicable for counseling.
