Deputy Head of Department(Civil/Track) in DMRC Highlights

  • The holder of these positions will be the Deputy Head of the Department of Civil/Track.
  • They will be responsible for managing all track concerned works concerned with Metro Project carried out by DMRC and its allied projects.
  • Any other activity needs for Track & Civil department of the metro network will be under their control.

DMRC Eligibility Criteria for Deputy Head of Department (Civil/Track) Vacancy

DMRC will select the appropriate participants for the posts on the basis of several aspects, some of which are their age, educational qualification, and work experience.

Qualification

  • Aspirants with M.E./M.Tech degree will be given preference.
  • All the participants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks/equivalent CGPA from a Govt. recognised University/Institute.

Work Experience

For Deputy General Manager(Civil/Track)

  • The participant should have working experience in construction/maintenance of Rail/Metro track work.

On Direct Appointment

  • Executive of Government Organisation/PSUs should be holding a post in the CDA pay scale of INR 15600-39100 or IDA pay scale of INR 29100-54500.
  • Aspirants must have a total of 9 years service at Gazetted/Executive level in any Govt. Organisation/PSU with at least 4 years service in the pay scale of Rs.24900-50500/Sr. Scale (INR 15600-39100)

On Reemployment Basis 

  • Executive of Government Organisation/PSUs who has superannuated/are going to superannuate from CDA pay scale (substantive) of INR 15600-39100 or IDA pay scale of INR 29100-54500 are applicable.

For Joint General Manager(Civil/Track) 

  • Aspirants must have served with a total of 15 years service at Gazetted/Executive level in any Govt. Organisation or PSU.
  • Executive of Government Organisation/PSUs should be holding a post in the CDA pay scale of INR 37400 - 67000 or IDA pay scale of Rs.36600 - 62000.
  • The participant should have working experience in construction/maintenance of Rail/Metro track work. 
  • The participant should have knowledge of standard specifications(Indian & EN) for procurement, Inspection & testing of Rail Turnouts, Fastenings, Ballast & Sleepers. 
  • Aspirants must have minimum 04 years of experience in procurement, inspection & testing of track materials like Rail Turnouts, Fastenings, Ballast & Sleepers etc. for any Rail/Metro.

DMRC Vacancy 2018 Selection Procedure – Deputy Head of Department(Civil/Track) 

  • Applications received after March 26, 2018, Application that is not in the prescribed pattern and Incomplete applications will be REJECTED.
  • DMRC reserves the right to shortlist the aspirants for the interview. The judgment of the selection committee will be final. Aspirants are shortlisted for GD/Interview in the ratio of 1:5, subject to availability of appropriate aspirants.
  • The selection methodology may include a three-stage procedure –

  • Aspirants are advised to thoroughly read all the instructions for interview displayed on DMRC website and appear for the interview accordingly along with original copies of all the documents.

  • The interview will be held tentatively in the last week of April 2018.
  • The final results will be declared tentatively in the first week of May 2018.
