CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) 2019

CMAT 2019 (Common Management Admission Test) is a national level entrance exam organizeed by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) for admission to postgraduate programs in management provideed by AICTE approved institutions, university departments/constituent or affiliated colleges. CMAT 2019 is tentatively scheduled for the last week of January 2019 and aspirants can check some quick facts about it.

  • Aspirants will be able to download their CMAT Hall Ticket 2019 from the third week of January 2019.
  • Application fee of INR 1400 and INR 700 for General and Reserved categories respectively can be remitted in both online and offline modes.
  • Participants must hold Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university of the board.
  • CMAT Application Form 2019 will be available from the 2nd week of October 2018 until last week of December 2018 in the online method only.

CMAT 2019 is a computer-based test organizeed once a year. The 3-hour test is objective in nature covering 4 sections (Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness) with 25 questions in each. Eligibility Criteria of CMAT 2019

Before filling CMAT Application Form 2019, aspirants must ensure that they are applicable for appearing in CMAT 2019. CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 is for mentioned-below.

  • The Participant should be a citizen of India and at least age limit is 21 years.
  • Participants must score minimum 50% marks in their Graduation. However, there is a relaxation of 5% for Reserved Category students.
  • For Executive Program in Management, participants required to possess an at least of 5-years of relevant managerial/supervisory experience and academic qualification requirement remains same.
  • Aspirants must have passed Bachelor’s Degree of 3-years period or more, from a recognised university.
  • Final year students of graduate programs are also applicable to appear for CMAT.
  • It should be noted that, after the results for CMAT 2019 are published, aspirants are expected to produce their Qualifying Examination’s Mark sheet for Admission purposes.

Application Form of CMAT 2019

CMAT Registration 2019 is a clearly online procedure. Aspirants can fill CMAT Application Form 2019 from the second week of October 2019 till the last week of December 2019. Some of the prerequisites for CMAT Application Form 2019 are mentioned below.

  • Participant’s scanned photo and signature
  • Participant’s all qualification details
  • A valid Credit / Debit card in case of online payment mode.
  • A Valid mobile number to receive CMAT concerned information through SMS.
  • A valid e-mail id. Please note that all CMAT concerned communication will be done on this e-mail id.
  • A Printer connected to the computer to print Challan in case Offline payment mode.
  • A Computer with good Internet connectivity

All participants can follow these steps to fill CMAT Application Form 2019:

  1. Visit the official website of CMAT i.e. www.aicte-cmat.in
  2. Create an account with a valid email address.
  3. Offer contact information, individual, educational and work experience, the list of programs to send scores, and the ID that you will use at the selected exam centre.
  4. Enter your name and date of birth exactly as indicated on the primary and secondary ID.
  5. Upload scanned photograph and signature. The photograph must have a resemblance to the aspirant and to the photograph on the primary ID as it is comprised of CMAT Hall Ticket 2019.
  6. Pay the registration fee.

Hall Ticket of CMAT 2019

CMAT Hall Ticket 2019 will be available for download from the official website minimum a week prior to CMAT 2019 exam. Aspirants required to log in with their registered User ID and password and download their CMAT 2019 Hall Ticket.

CMAT Hall Ticket 2019 is a compulsory document for appearing in the test. It will contain details such as the aspirant’s name, date of birth, exam centre, photograph etc. In case, aspirants don’t receive their CMAT 2019 hall ticket, they should contact CMAT helpdesk (022-66258304) immediately.

How to Download CMAT Hall Ticket 2019?

Aspirants should check the steps mentioned below to download their CMAT Hall Ticket 2019:

  1. Go to the official website of CMAT i.e. aicte-cmat.in.
  2. Click on the link to download CMAT Hall Ticket.
  3. Login via your ID and Password offered at the time of registration.
  4. CMAT Hall Ticket 2019 will appear on the screen. 
  5. Print and preserve a hard copy for further use.

Aspirants must cautiously go via all the details mentioned on their CMAT hall ticket 2019 cautiously. It is compulsory for all the test takers to carry the hall ticket on the day of the exam along with a recent coloured passport size photograph pasted on it.

Syllabus of CMAT 2019

CMAT 2018 syllabus is divided into 4 sections - Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. Read them below.

  • Language Comprehension: Reading Compression, Grammatical Concepts, Jumbled Sentences, Word Meanings etc.
  • General Awareness: Participants are advised to keep abreast of news and present affairs
  • Quantitative Techniques: School-level Arithmetic, Probability, Permutation and Combination, Trigonometry, Geometry, Improvmentsions, and Logarithms
  • Logical Reasoning: Family tree, arrangement, numeric grid, coding and series

Result of CMAT 2019

CMAT Result 2019 is expected to be published in February 2019. Along with the scorecard, AICTE also announces an all-India merit list with name, section-wise scores, and total scores. Examinees can download their scorecard from the official website using their respective login details.

The scorecards can be downloaded from the official website for a duration of approximately a month. So, aspirants are advised to print their scorecards as soon as it is available on the portal. AICTE does not issue hard copies of scorecards to be sent to aspirants by post.

CMAT 2019 Result will be released in the form of percentile. The procedure for computing percentile score is mentioned below-

Where P is Percentile and N is Number of Aspirants

Once the result is published, the aspirants are then invited for CMAT Counseling 2019 by the institutes accepting CMAT scores, on the basis of their test scores. Each Institute has their own selection process and participants required to check with specific institutes regarding the procedure.


Cut Off from CMAT 2019

CMAT 2019 Cut off will be announced course-wise and category-wise for each college. All CMAT Participating Colleges will declare their personal cut off based on the merit list announced by AICTE.

Cut Off, here refers to the least percentile that the colleges will decide after considering different factors and based on which they will select aspirants for granting admission. Aspirants who complete CMAT Cut Off and fulfil other eligibility criteria will be provideed admissions in different courses.
