CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) 2018 Notification to release soon

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will soon announce notification for CMAT 2018. The computer-based 3-hour exam will be organizeed in a single session in the last week of January 2018.

  • Registration for CMAT 2018 will begin in the second week of October 2017 in online method only.
  • The payment of application fee can be made through online (credit card/debit card or net banking) as well as offline method (cash payment at SBI discipline).
  • For each accurate response, the candidate will be honoured +4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong response.
  • To apply for CMAT, aspirants must be graduate in any relevant branch and a citizen of India.

Who is applicable to apply for CMAT 2018?

Aspirant will be considered applicable to apply for CMAT if he/she fulfils the conditions set by the organizing body clearly. Given below are the eligibility requirements to apply for CMAT 2018:

  • Participant must be an Indian citizen.
  • Those who have finished their graduation in relevant branch from a recognised university will be considered applicable.
  • Those completing their graduation in the same year before the organization of admission procedure can also apply.

How to Apply for Common Management Admission Test 2018?

To apply for CMAT 2018, candidates will have to clear the registration procedure first, subsequently, form filling process will be followed. Refer to the steps given below to fill CMAT 2018 Application Form.

  • Submit these details and obtain user id and password.
  • Use these credentials to log in and fill the remaining details.
  • Click on β€˜New
  • Upload the scanned copy of the need documents such as passport size photograph, signatures, academic documents, caste certificates (if eligible), etc.
  • Pay the application fee through the online or offline method as per the directions are given below in this article.
  • Lastly, secure a copy of the clearly filled and submitted application form for future reference.
  • Enter need information such as Individual Details, Contact Details and Academic Details.
  • Go to the official website of AICTE or AICTE- CMAT.

Application Fee CMAT 2018

The application fee, as mentioned earlier, can be remitted viz. online and offline mode. Aspirants will have to make payment of INR 1400 (General category) or INR 700 (for reserved category aspirants).

  • Offline payment of the application fee can be made in cash at any discipline of SBI.
  • For online payment, use credit card/ debit card or you can also go for net banking options.

Exam Format for Common Management Admission Test 2018

CMAT 2018 will be organizeed in online method i.e. Computer based test. Each accurate response will be honoured with +4 marks while 1 mark will be deducted for every inaccurate response. The 180 minutes exam will include 100 questions.

  • CMAT 2018 will include questions from 4 sections namely, Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
  • Maximum marks to be scored in this exam is 400.
  • Each section will consist of 25 questions, making the total number of questions counting up to 100.
