CMAT 2018 Cutoff for GLIM

While AICTE does not announce an official CMAT 2018 cutoff to shortlist participants, Great Lakes releases its personal cutoff. Also, many coaching centers announce the expected CMAT Cutoff 2018 at their websites.

Going by the past year trends, at least score of 180 needs to get an interview call from GLIM. Most likely, this year’s cutoff will announce in the third week of February 2018, once CMAT Result is declared on February 14.

CMAT cutoff is the first level of screening of aspirants for admission to MBA or PGDM program in GLIM. Read CMAT Selection process Along with the cutoff, it is essential to hold a Bachelor’s degree to apply.

CMAT Expected Cutoff 2018

Factors influencing CMAT Cut-off 2018

Cut-off announced by GLIM depends on the following factors:

  • Number of seats available
  • Number of participants passing the exam
  • Number of participants appearing for CMAT
  • The difficulty level of CMAT question paper

How is CMAT 2018 Score Calculated?

The participant’s score is calculated on the following basis -

  • -1 marks for an inaccurate response.
  • The participant’s percentile will be prepared according to the following formula -
  • 0 mark for no response.
  • +4 marks for the accurate response.

P = ((N – Participant’s Rank)/N) x 100

Here, the “P” is the participant’s percentile and “N” is the total number of participants who appeared for the test.

Great Lakes Eligibility Criteria

PG Diploma in Management (PGDM)

  • Work experience is not mandatory for this program.
  • The participant should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (10+2+3) from a recognised university. 
  • Fresh graduates or aspirants in the final year of graduation can also apply.
  • Graduates up to 5 years of work experience can apply.

PG Program in Management (PGPM)

  • They must have an at least of 5 years of work experience.
  • Earlier academic performance, extra-curricular activities, achievements are also taken into consideration.
  • Participants must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university in India or abroad. 

PG Certificate in International Management (PGCIM)

  • They must have an at least of 2 years of work experience.
  • Participants must hold Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university in India or abroad. 

CMAT 2018 Selection Process

After the announce of CMAT Cutoff, GLIM begins its selection process. It includes of:

  • Individual Interview (PI) or Written Ability Test (WAT)
  • Group Discussion (GD)

Participants will be given admission on the basis of their performance in these rounds. Selected aspirants will participate in CMAT Counseling, expected to begin from March 2018.
