CMAT 2018 Cut off for SIMSREE

Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research, and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE) was established in the year 1983 and since then, it stands as one of the most famous management institutes in India.

SIMSREE provides admission to MMS, PGDM, MMM and MFM courses via CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA. CMAT 2018 Cut off is likely to be 99.96 percentile, according to the earlier year trends.

The annual intake is 120, 60, 30, 30 in the MMS, PGDM, MMM, MFM courses respectively.  There is no GD or PI for admissions into MMS and PGDBM courses in SIMSREE. Students will be admitted into MMS and PGDM programs via CMAT Selection Process.

CMAT 2018 was successfully organized on January 20, 2018. CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved University/ Institutions/ Departments/Affiliated Colleges/ Constituent Colleges.

CMAT 2018 Expected Cut off for SIMSREE

SIMSREE provides different management courses at the postgraduate level such as PG Diploma in Business Management (PGDM), Master’s Degree in Financial Management (MFM), Masters of Management Studies (MMS) and Master’s Degree in Marketing Management (MMM). Admission to all the programs is done via CMAT.

In order to seek admission via CMAT, the at least cutoff marks to be secured are around 99.96 percentile, according to the earlier year trends.

  • Marking scheme including negative marking
  • Total number of seats provided
  • Difficulty level of the exam
  • Average marks scored in CMAT exam

Cut-off marks vary from college to college. It is the at least marks need to score by any aspirant to get into the college of his choice. Aspirants have to get the cut-off percentile to get shortlisted for the next round of selection procedure of admission.

SIMSREE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

SIMSREE provides PGDM and MMS courses in five various specializations namely Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Systems, and Operations. Aspirants need to accomplish the eligibility criteria to get admission to the course and the criteria are the following:

  • Aspirants should possess a Graduation degree from a recognised university with minimum two years of work experience pertaining to the field to get admission in MFM and MMM courses.
  • To get admission in MMS and PGDM, it is requisite for the students to possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 45%, in case of reserved category students.
  • The aspirant must have a valid CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ ATMA score to get admission in PGDM and MMS. Read CMAT Eligibility 2018
  • Students who are still in their final year of examination or are waiting for their results can also apply for admission to SIMSREE.

 SIMSREE via CMAT 2018 How to Apply?

Below are the steps to follow in order to apply at SIMSREE:

  1. The student has to appear for MAH-CET organized by DTE or any exam equivalent to MAH-CET (CAT and CMAT)
  2. Apply to Admission procedure of DTE  ( follow released at dte.org.in )
  3. DTE will organize Document verification at ARCs
  4. On the basis of Percentile of Normalized score of entrance exams, seat allotment will be done by DTE on merit in CAP rounds

Selection Procedure for SIMSREE 2018

Admission of applicable aspirants will be done on the basis of CMAT Result only. As per the official notification, no individual interview and group discussion will be organized.

Different factors will affect the final selection of the students, like marks scored in the entrance examination and participant’s performance in the entrance examination for getting admission into both MMS/ PGDBM courses.
