The Common Law Admission Test or CLAT is the single unified entrance test for 19 NLUs and other a law schools accepting the scores. Candidates want admissions to LLB and LLM Program across India can apply online until March 31, 2018.

A mere 8000 aspirants appeared for the national level law entrance examination in 2008. In 2017, almost 50000 aspirants sat for it. The number is expected to increase in the coming years. This year, NUALS Kochi has scheduled CLAT LLM and LLB for May 13, 2018.

  • CLAT Scores are also considered by different private law colleges and government undertaking colleges across the country.

CLAT LLM 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi will define the eligibility criteria for the Post Graduate Program. A brief about the same are listed below:

Academic Qualification

  • At Least percentage of marks need in the qualifying examination (3 year LLB, 5 years Integrated LLB/ any other equivalent exam) is as under:
  1. 55% marks for Unreserved/ OBC/ SAP and other categories and
  2. 50% marks for SC/ ST categories
  • The aspirant must have passed/ appeared in the final year examination of the qualifying examination on the date of his/ her admission.
  • Aspirants who have appeared in the qualifying examination must submit his/ her final result of the examination within the offered time frame by the respective University.

There is no upper age limit prescribed by the authorities for appearing in CLAT LLM 2018.

CLAT LLM Registration 2018

The application form is available online at clat.ac.in. The last date to register for Post Graduate Program is March 31, 2018. A stepwise process to fill the online form is as follows:

Step 1 – Filling Basic Information

Visit CLAT Official Website and Click ‘Apply Online’. Register as a new user and enter your Name, Email ID, Mobile No. and Password is sent to the registered ID and Mobile No., use the credentials to log in to reach CLAT Application. and captcha code. A provisional Registration No.

Step 2 – Scanning and Uploading of Document

In this step, scan and upload your photograph and signature as per the specifications defined by NUALS Kochi.

Step 3 – Fill CLAT Application Form 2018

Now, fill in all the sections as per the given order. Listed below are the sections in the online LLM Form:

Individual Details – selecting gender, nationality, state of domicile, nativity etc.

Qualification Details – enter year of passing, board name, marks, and percentage etc.

 Preference of NLU – choosing the National Law University as per your preference.

Fee Details – making the payment as per your category through online or offline mode.
