BVP CET Exam Pattern 2018

BVP CET 2018 Exam Format will help aspirants prepare for the Common Entrance Test organizeed by Bharati Vidyapeeth University with ease and clarity. The exam will be organizeed for all Under Graduate and Post Graduate Courses provideed by the university. LLB, BA LLB, B.Pharm, B.Arch, BHMCT, B.SC, BASLP, B.Optom, M.Tech, MBA/ MCA, LLM, M.Pharm, M.Arch, M.Sc, MASLP, M.Optom, MSW. The courses are inclusive of B.Tech, BBA/BCA, LLB, BBA.

Selected aspirants for BVPCET (Bharathi Vidyapeeth University Common Entrance Test) are placed over 12 colleges in Pune and neighbouring states. The exam will be organizeed in the offline method and aspirants will be asked to fill the responses in the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet. University is a Grade A certified university and provides world-class educations.

  • Sometimes for some courses like Nursing, the exam will be organizeed for 100 marks.
  • The syllabus will vary for each exam and you can refer the below session for a detailed syllabus.
  • Aspirants will be given 1 mark for every right response and there is no negative marking.
  • The aspirants will be given a total of 3 hours and they will have to response 200 questions. 
  • The syllabus for Under Graduate Courses will primarily cover subjects of the 11th and 12thstandards inclusive of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • The questions will be of multiple choice type and aspirants will have to choose the response from 4 choices.

The syllabus for Post Graduate Courses will include Aptitude and the subject of specializations.

Exam Format in Detail of BVPCET 2018

The exam will be organizeed in an offline method and the aspirants are strongly advised to carry a black pen and pencil to mark the responses. The total marks of the exam can vary for each stream and time period will vary accordingly.

B.Tech Courses

BVP CET 2018 Exam Format is common for all types of engineering courses inclusive of Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. The exam format is as follows

BBA/BCA

The aspirant will have to write BVP BUMAT for qualifying the course. The period of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes and will be organizeed for 200 marks

LLB

The entrance exam is common for BBA, BA and all courses in Law. The exam format is as follows

Marking Scheme of BVPCET 2018

The marking scheme for BVP CET 2018 is generally 1 mark for all exams. The total score of the exam might vary. But the marks allotted for each question is 1 mark. The response sheet is an Optical Mark Reader.

Marks honoured for Accurate Response – 1 mark

Marks deducted for Negative Response – Nil

If the question is wrong, then the final judgement will be taken by the university.

Important Instructions

The instructions given below must be followed by every aspirant during the examination:

  • Electronic devices of any kind will not be permitted. Read well into the subject before the exam.
  • Aspirants are advised to carry two or more sets for safety purposes. Rough sheets of any kind will not be permitted in the exam hall.
  • Avoid smudges and bulges as much as possible to avoid repeat grading and mistake.
  • Handle the sheet with care and firmness. The sensor in the OMR will scan the sheets based on the coloured value.
  • Aspirants should neatly colour the accurate response with a black ballpoint pen or pencil. Avoid using a gel pen.
  • The aspirant can lightly circle the accurate response and then colour the response with the ballpoint pen.
  • It is important to carry the necessary stationery like a black ballpoint pen, pencil, sharpener and eraser to the exam hall.
  • BVP CET 2018 Hall Ticket must be carried along with a photo proof.
  • The examiner will offer the necessary sheets and collect it at the end of the exam.
