BHEL Appointment via GATE 2018 – Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited or BHEL is appointing the graduate engineers via GATE 2018 Scores. The appointment is open for the post of Engineer Trainees in BHEL. The application procedure will begin from January 11, 2018, and will run till February 3, 2018. Participants holding Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree can apply for the same. The selection procedure of BHEL requires you to have a qualifying GATE score. Then, you must complete the individual interview stage. Weightage given will be 75% of the GATE scores and 25% to the Interview. Some more details about the same are given below: Physically challenged aspirants will be given relaxation in cut off marks in related categories for an interview.
The aspirants have to complete all rounds of the Selection Process to be finally applicable for Selection at the post of Engineer Trainees with BHEL.

During the training period, basic pay of INR 20600/- to 46500 will be paid. Following a successful training, trainees will be absorbed as Engineers with a pay scale of INR 24900 to 50500 with basic pay of INR 24900/-. Total Cost to Company will be INR 8 lakhs as Engineer Trainees

Selected aspirants will have to carry out service agreement bond of INR 2,00,000/- to cater the company for 3 years minimum following training completion.

No request for transfer of aspirant during training duration and beyond will be entertained and in case outside influence is used, Rule 17 of the BHEL Organize, Branch and Appeal Rules 1975 comes into place.
Participants should possess sound health and before joining, they have to undergo medical exam and company’s authorised officer will examine them. Recruitment is subject to health standards prescribed by the firm. There will be no relaxing of health standards and BHEL Medical Examination Rules can be managed up close. Definition of Locomotor Disability and Hearing Impairment for PwD is as per the Disabilities Act 1995. Persons with less than 40% of relevant disability are not allowed for reservation. Physically challenged aspirants to have to give self-attested comp of the duly stamped medical certificate from a government hospital in relation to disability.

Step 1: Once the 3 part challan has been filled, it is deposited with a non-refundable fee of INR 250 and banker’s seal/signature should be available regarding the signing authority on the challan.
Step 2: Fill OAF cautiously as details cannot be changed later.
Step 3: After submission of OAF, unique acknowledgement number is given and aspirant downloads acknowledgement flip.

The GATE cutoff required is on the higher side and only those in the top ranks stand a high chance of being called for the interview. Aspirants can only fill the application form if they have a registration number (available on the Hall Ticket).
