BCECE Exam Pattern 2018 Syllabus

BCECE 2018 will be organized in two stages, i.e. Stage-I and Stage-II. BCECE 2018 Stage-I is scheduled to be held in the 3rd week of April 2018 while Results of Stage-I will be released by the last week of April 2018. Aspirants who will qualify BCECE 2018 Stage-I will be applicable to appear in Stage-II. BCECE 2018 Stage II will be organized in the 3rd week of May 2018.

BCECEB (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board) has not released the BCECE 2018 Exam Format yet. The exam paper will be published in both, the English and the Hindi language. As per the trend, BCECE 2018 is expected to be organized in the pen & paper-based method of examination.

BCECE 2018 Stage-I will be set for a period of 135 minutes. BCECE 2018 Stage-II will also consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology and will carry a total of 300 multiple choice questions of 1200 marks. The period of Stage-II paper will be of 270 minutes. It will contain questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology and will carry a total of 150 multiple choice questions of 600 marks.

4 marks will be honored for each right response while one mark will be deducted from aspirant’s score for each wrong response. Aspirants who will be appearing for BCECE 2018 can check BCECE 2018 Exam Format which might give them an idea about the paper structure.

BCECE Exam Format 2018 in Detail

BCECE 2018 question paper will be of Objective Type. The exam paper will be published in the English and the Hindi language. Period of the Stage-I exam will be 135 minutes and Stage-II exam will be for 270 minutes.

To appear in BCECE 2018 admission procedure, it is compulsory for every aspirant to qualify both the stages of BCECE 2018. Before appearing in any stage of BCECE, aspirants must go via BCECE 2018 Exam Format.

BCECE 2018 Exam Format for Stage-I 

BCECE Stage-I paper will consist of 150 questions of Objective Type Questions with Four alternative options. The question paper will consist of four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Chemistry and Physics will be the mandatory section while there will be optional between Biology and Mathematics section.

Aspirants will have to solve the question paper in 135 minutes. Four marks will be honored for each right response while one mark will be deducted for each wrong response.

BCECE 2018 Exam Format for Stage-II 

BCECE Stage-II will consist of total 300 questions of Objective Type Questions with Four alternative options. The question paper will consist of four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Chemistry and Physics will be the mandatory section while there will be optional between Biology and Mathematics section.

90 minutes will be allotted to each subject which means the total period assigned to solve BCECE stage-II examination is 270 minutes. Four marks will be honored for each right response while 1 mark will be deducted from aspirants’ score for each wrong response.

Marking Scheme for BCECE 2018

BCECE Stage-I question paper will consist of a total of 600 marks. Four marks will be honored to the aspirant for each right response while 1 mark will be deducted from his score for each wrong response. Each section of Stage-I will carry 200 marks each.

BCECE 2018 Important Instructions

These are some important instructions for BCECE 2018 Examination that aspirants should follow:

  • Aspirants are not permitted to carry any electronic device and study material at examination hall like (Mobile, Bluetooth, Pager, watch, test series, books, model papers, etc.)
  • Aspirants are advised to bring a valid Photo Identity card (in original) along with their printout of BCECE 2018 Hall Ticket on the day of examination.
  • Aspirants should not indulge in any argument with the examiners or other staff involved in the examination duty at the examination center. The aspirants, who will not follow the instructions, will be treated as Unfair Means and his/her result will not be declared.
  • The aspirant should follow the instructions given by the examiners in the examination room
  • Any kind of tampering in the OMR Sheet may lead to the direct disqualification. 
  • After the examiner has verified BCECE 2018 Hall Ticket of the aspirant, he must sign on the attendance sheet in the presence of the examiner and mention the admit card number also.
  • The examiner should not disturb other aspirants in the examination room and maintain clear silence during the examination.
  • Do not deface, distort, mutilate or damage the OMR Sheet. It should be kept in the excellent conditions.
  • No aspirant will be allowed to appear in the examination whose Admit Card is not allocated by the BCECEB.
  • No aspirant will be allowed to appear at the examination center other than that allotted to him/her in the Hall Ticket.
  • No aspirant will be allowed to enter the examination center/hall after the commencement of examination.

The judgment of BCECE shall be final in all matters.
