Application Form of KEAM 2019

KEAM Application Form 2019 will be available from February 2019. The test will be held in the 4th week of April 2019. Students interested to appear for the state engineering exam must apply for the same through online method i.e. www.cee.kerala.gov.in. KEAM 2019 Application procedure is primarily divided into 4 main steps which are mentioned below.

  • Fee Payment
  • Registration
  • Filling Application Form
  • Sending Application Form and requisite Documents to CEE office

KEAM 2019 Registration will be organizeed via the online method only. Applicants are advised to go via the official notification uploaded on the websites of CEE to know the eligibility criteria and other updates. To fulfil at least eligibility norms for KEAM 2019 exam, candidates must qualify 10+2 exam with minimum 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Aspirants must pay the application fee of INR 800 for General category and INR 400 for Scheduled Castes. Candidates from the ST category are exempted from fee payment. KEAM 2019 is a state level offline test organizeed by CEE, Kerala every year. Via this exam, over 56,000 students are admitted in the participating government and private engineering colleges across the state.

Eligibility Criteria of KEAM 2019

KEAM 2019 eligibility norms are as set up by the organizing board. All participants must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below.

Nationality

  • Those who fall under the category of PIO and OCI can also apply for the test.
  • Participants should be citizens of India to be applicable for KEAM 2019.

Nativity

To be applicable for the exam, students should fall under any of these 3 categories according to their nativity. These are:

  • Domicile: Candidates domiciled in Kerala are grouped as Keralites. Children of parents who cater as Indian Service Officers and are posted in Kerala will also be part of this group offered they current a certificate of proof of such service.
  • Non– Keralite 1: Aspirants residing in Kerala for an at least of 5 years in the study duration of 12 years will fall under this category. Children of non- Keralite parents who have studied class 12 will also fall under this category if either of the parents is serving in the government or defence sector.
  • Non– Keralite 2: Personals who do not fall in the above two categories will fall under this category. They will be applicable to get admission in the engineering courses via management quota seats in private colleges under the government.

Age Limit

  • The lower age limit is 17 years of age as on December 31, 2019, whereas an upper age limit has not been prescribed for the test.

Educational Qualification

  • They should have secured minimum 50% marks taken together in PCM subjects. A score of 50% marks in Mathematics is also necessary to be applicable for the exam.
  • Participants who wish to get into Engineering courses must have passed Class 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board.
  • Applicants appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply offered they fulfil all the eligibility norms.

How to fill Application Form of KEAM 2019?

KEAM 2019 Application Form will be available on the official website of the CEE. Only those candidates who apply for the test by paying the requisite application fees and submit the form to the CEE office within the stipulated time can appear for the test. Applicants can fill and submit their application forms via the online mode.

KEAM 2019 application procedure includes 4 main steps- Online Registration, Filling of Application Form & Uploading documents, Payment of Fees and Sending the Application Form & other documents to CEE Office.

Pre-requisites for filling KEAM 2019 Application Form-

  • Details of online payment mode
  • Caste certificate for reference
  • Scanned images of photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression of aspirant
  • Valid mobile number and email ID

Aspirants can fill the KEAM 2019 form by following the guidelines mentioned below.

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website of KEAM 2019 i.e. cee.kerala.gov.in
  • Read the declaration and accept the terms & conditions.
  • Select the link of ‘KEAM 2019 Online Application’ and click on ‘Aspirant Registration’ to start the registration procedure.
  • The participant registration confirmation page will be displayed in a new window which will have the Application Number. Candidates must note down this number for completing further steps.
  • Students must offer basic details about themselves like their name, email ID, mobile number and they will also have to choose a password for their user account. Cautiously check these details and click on ‘Register’.

Step 2: Filling of KEAM 2019 Application Form and Uploading Documents

  • Candidates should then enter their individual, communication, educational and course details.
  • After filling all the requisite fields, aspirants can see the preview of their application form.
  • They will first have to upload scanned images of their recent passport- size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression as per the guidelines are given in the table below.
  • Go via all the details and click on ‘Final Submission’.
  • Aspirants should log in to their accounts using the system generated Application Number and Password.

Step 3: Fee Payment

  • Fees can be remitted via the offline method (e- challan) and also through online method (Debit/ Credit card, Net banking).
  • Take a print out the copy of e-receipt of the transaction or preserve the student copy of the bank challan.
  • Next, participants will have to pay KEAM 2019 application fee.
  • Aspirants can even check the status of their payment by logging into their user profiles and checking if the ‘Payment’ tab has turned green which signifies successful payment.

Step 4: Submitting Application form and required documents to CEE

  • They will also have to send necessary documents in original.
  • The form should access the following address within the last date of application
  • Candidates should take a print out of the duly filled application form, get it attested by Head of the institute or a Gazetted officer and submit it to the CEE office by speed/ registered post or hand delivery.

Documents to be submitted with KEAM 2019 Application Form

Aspirants will have to submit certain documents along with the attested KEAM Application Form and the same has been mentioned below.

  • Nativity Certificate
  • Proof of Special Reservation (if eligible)
  • Original Income Certificate (if eligible)
  • Self-attested copy of proof of Date of Birth
  • Reservation Certificate (if eligible)
  • Course Certificate or Self Attested Copy of Mark List

Application Status of KEAM 2019

Aspirants can track their KEAM Application Form status by logging into their user profiles. They will see a red-coloured ‘Received by CEE’ bar in the top corner. Once, CEE receives the dispatched application form and relevant documents, the colour of this bar will change from red to green which implies that the application form has been submitted successfully.

How to Retrieve KEAM 2019 Password/ Application Number?

Students will be assigned an Application Number by CEE and they will have to choose a Password during Registration. In case, a participant forgets his password, then he can follow the steps said below to retrieve it:

  • A new password will be sent to the person through email.
  • Applicants will then have to enter their registered email ID, DOB and captcha code given on the page.
  • Log on to the registered person’s login page and enter your Application Number. Click on ‘Forgot Password’.

If a person forgets his Application Number, then he can follow these steps to retrieve it:

  • Visit the registered person’s login page and click on the link of ‘Forgot Application Number’.
  • The application number will appear on the screen which should be noted down and preserved.
  • Students will then have to enter their name, DOB and password.
