Application Form of KCET 2019

KCET Application Form 2019 will be available from January 2019. Candidates interested to appear for the state entrance test must apply through the online portal i.e. kea.kar.nic.in. KCET 2019 Application procedure is primarily divided into 3 main steps- Registration, Filling Application Form, and Fee Payment.

All those who fulfil the at least eligibility criteria must fill the online application form. Application fees for General and OBC category are INR 650 while it is INR 500 for reserved category. A window for application form correction will also be open for editing the application form in March 2019.

Aspirants are advised to go via the official notification uploaded on the website of KEA to be updated regarding the eligibility criteria and other updates. Only those who successfully register shall be alloted KCET Hall Ticket.

KCET 2019 is a state-level offline test scheduled to take place in April 2019. Via this exam, students are admitted into the engineering, agriculture and medical sciences program provideed by the participating government and private engineering colleges across the state. It is organizeed by KEA, Karnataka every year.

Application Form Important Dates of KCET 2019

Application procedure will begin in the month of January 2019. Candidates must browse the official KEA website for exam concerned updates. Important dates regarding KCET 2019 Application procedure are given as below:

Eligibility Criteria of KCET 2019

KCET 2019 eligibility norms are as set up by the organizing board. Before applying for KCET, check the eligibility criteria that are as said below- Each person must make sure that he meets the eligibility criteria before they apply for the exam.

For Engineering/ Architecture Programs:

  • Participants should have finished Class 12, 2nd year Pre-University or equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics and English as mandatory subjects.
  • Students appearing in 10+2 final exam or equivalent are also applicable to apply for the test.
  • They should secure at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in Physics & Mathematics along with any one of the following subjects Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-Technology/ Electronics/ Computer.

For Medical Science/ Agricultural Science/ Pharmacy Programs:

  • Personals appearing in their qualifying examination are also applicable to apply offered they fulfil the above criteria at the time of admission.
  • They must have obtained minimum 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in PCB group.
  • Applicants must have finished Class 12 exam, 2nd year Pre-University or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.

How to fill KCET Application Form 2019?

KCET Application Form 2019 will be available on the official website of KEA. Only those candidates who apply for the test by uploading necessary documents and pay the requisite application fees within the stipulated time can appear for the test. Applicants can fill and submit their application forms via the online window.

KCET 2019 application procedure includes 3 main steps- Online Registration, Filling of Application Form & Uploading documents, and Payment of Fees.

Pre-requisites for filling KCET 2019 Application Form

  • Valid email ID and mobile number
  • Scanned images of photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression of participants as per guidelines
  • Mark memos and other certificates (caste, income, etc.) for reference
  • Details of offline payment mode

Aspirants can fill the KCET 2019 form by utilizing the guidelines that are mentioned below:

Step 1: Registration

  • Candidates will have to choose their board of Class 12 exam. Those who are appearing for Karnataka PUC exam should enter their 13- digit ‘Student Number’ PUE department.
  • Visit the official website of KCET 2019 i.e. kea.kar.nic.in
  • Select the option of ‘Click Here to Register’.
  • Read the instructions and accept the terms of the declaration.
  • Upon successful registration, students will receive an Application Number and User ID on their registered email ID and mobile number. They must note this down for completing further steps.
  • Personals must offer basic details about themselves like their name, email ID, mobile number, and DOB. They will also have to choose a password and security question-response for their user account and click on ‘submit’.

Step 2: Filling KCET 2019 Application Form and Uploading Documents

  • They must enter their individual, communication and educational details concerned to CET given earlier.
  • Go via all the details cautiously and click on ‘Save & Next’.
  • Aspirants should log in to their accounts using the User ID and Password.
  • Next, they will have to upload scanned images of their recent passport- size photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression as per the guidelines given in the table below:

Step 3: Fee Payment

  • Fees can be remitted only via the offline method (e-Challan or DD).
  • The e-Challan can be deposited at selected disciplines of State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, Indian Bank and some post offices.
  • Preserve a copy of transaction of the bank challan and take a print out of the duly filled application form for reference.
  • The DD should be drawn in the name of ‘Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority’ and payable at Bangalore.
  • Applicants will then have to pay KCET 2019 application fee.

How to Retrieve KCET 2019 Password?

Students will have to choose a Password during the registration and application procedure. In case, a participant forgets his password, then he can follow the steps said below to retrieve it:

  • Log on to the registered participant’s login page and click on ‘Forgot Password’.
  • Applicants will then have to enter their registered Application Number, User ID, security question- response and captcha code given on the page.
  • Candidates will be directed to a new window to create a new password.

Application Form Correction of KCET 2019

Applicants will be able to edit KCET Application Form2019 tentatively from the 2nd week of March 2019. This correction facility will be open for all registered aspirants and is their only chance to rectify any errors made in filling the form. They can use the following steps to edit KCET 2019 Application Form: Details entered in only a few fields can be edited via this correction window.

  • Go to the official and click on ‘Editing CET 2019 Application’
  • Edit the necessary fields and select the ‘Declare Button’
  • Submit the form and then take a print out of the edited KCET Application form.
  • Candidates will have to enter their User ID and generate OTP on their registered mobile number
