APICET Results 2018 Download Score Card

APICET 2018 Results will be announced by the Andhra University in the month of May 2018.

APICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test) is organized by APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) for aspirants who are interested to take admission in Andhra university for Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Applications (Full Time / Distance learning mode/ B.R Ambedkar AP open University) courses provided by the university.

APICET 2018 How to Check Results?

As mentioned previous, APICET 2018 Results will be available on the official website i.e., www.sche.ap.gov.in. Aspirants can download the result from the link.

Here are some simple steps to check APICET 2018 Result:

  • Marks and respective ranks of the aspirants will be displayed.
  • Log in to the official link.
  • Aspirants required to offer their registration number and date of birth and then click “Submit” button.
  • Aspirants required to go to the official website www.sche.ap.gov.in
  • Aspirants can download the result here.
  • Aspirants required to take a printout of the result and keep it safe for the future references.
  • Click on “Download Results”.

Aspirants required to take a printout of the result as it will be needed in the further process of admission. This scorecard will be submitted during the counseling procedure. Aspirants will get the details about marks they have got in the exam and their respective ranks.

APICET 2018 Normalization of Scorecard

Normalization of marks means to calculate the normalized marks of the aspirant. As APICET exam gets organized in 2 sessions on the basis of the same syllabus and same format having same eligibility criteria. Therefore, it is unfair for the aspirants to judge them via the exams consisting various level of questions. The level of the questions and the complexity of the exams organized in both the sessions can be different. So, the normalization of marks is needed so that the selection process should be biased to any of the aspirant applying for the exam.

This procedure of normalization is based on a simple formula which had adopted and advisable by different authorities of reputed institutions around the country. This procedure of normalization has already been implemented by different other All India/National level entrance exams for providing admissions in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The main purpose of applying the normalization is to justify the aspirants who get difficult paper compared to other. Most of the examination organizing authorities are adopting this normalization procedure. The formula via which the normalization takes place is mentioned below:

Normalized marks of the Aspirant = GMS + (Top average global – GMS ) /(Top average session -SMS) multiplied by (marks obtained by the aspirant – SMS )

  • Top Average Global: Average marks of top 0.1% aspirants across all sessions together
  • GMS: Average + Standard Deviation of all aspirants across all sessions
  • Top Average Session: Average marks of top 0.1% aspirants in the session he/she belongs to
  • SMS: Average + Standard Deviation of the session an aspirant belongs to

Weightage to assign merit ranks: 75% o EAMCET marks and 25% of intermediate marks in group subjects.

Response Key for APICET 2018

Once APICET 2018 exam gets organized aspirants can check their performance using the Response key. They can submit their objection till 4th week of May 2018. They can download the response key from the official website of Andhra University starting from 3rd week of May 2018. Aspirants can compare the responses they have given with the response key offered. Aspirants can check how much marks they are getting in the exam. If aspirants have any kind of objection regarding the response key then they can put objection against that.

APICET Cut off 2018

Aspirants can check the Cut off marks on the official website. Cut off marks of any exam depends on the level of the question and complexity of the exam. The cut off marks possess some value on their own as it helps aspirants to get some idea of at least marks needs to qualify the exam.

APICET exam includes of 200 questions worth 200 marks. Expected cut off marks a General aspirant requires to qualify the exam is 50 marks. Each question will carry 1 mark and the time period for the exam will be 150 minutes. There will be no negative marking.

This expected cut off may vary in accordance with:

  • aspirants’ performance
  • availability of seats
  • marking scheme
  • average score of aspirants
  • difficulty level of exam
  • earlier year cut offs
  • the number of participants

Counseling Procedure of APICET 2018

APICET 2018 Counseling will be held once the result is declared. Candidates who applied for the exam and completed APICET Exam 2018 will be called for the counseling round. The seats will be allotted to the aspirants on the basis of the rank they have got in APICET exam.

APICET 2018 Counseling stage will require the following eligibility criteria to be fulfilled to appear for the following process:

  • Aspirants securing 50 percent aggregate (in case of General category) are applicable for counseling stage.
  • SC and ST categories aspirants will have to score minimum 45 percent aggregate in degree and APICET 2018 to qualify

Certificates Need for APICET 2018 Counseling

Aspirants appearing for the counseling rounds of APICET 2018 have to carry two sets of photocopies along with the following original documents:

  • 10+2 and 10th standard mark sheets or equivalent mark sheet
  • Intermediate mark sheet
  • APICET 2018 Scorecard
  • Caste Certificate allowed by competent authority
  • Degree Marksheet and Pass Certificate
