APICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test) Notification to be released soon 2018

AP ICET 2018 notification is expected to announce in the month of February 2018. The last date of application form submission is April 05, 2018. Aspirants who wish to apply for the exam can submit the application form on the official website of the exam i.e. apicet.nic.in. It will be available on the official website. The registration will start in the first week of March 2018.

AP ICET 2018 is scheduled for May 02, 2018. Those who will successfully submit their applications can download AP ICET Hall Ticket on April 28, 2018, from the official website. 

AP ICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test) is a state level offline test which is organizeed for admission to MBA and MCA courses of all the Universities in Andhra Pradesh State and their affiliated institutes. This exam is organizeed by Andhra University on the behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education).


Important Dates for AP ICET 2018

Eligibility Criteria for AP ICET 2018

Participants wishing to apply have to fulfil the clear AP ICET Eligibility Criteria mentioned below:

  • The aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category) is needed for applying. 
  • Aspirants in the final year of their respective course are also applicable
  • Students applying for MBA should have 3 years bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised institution. One should have had Mathematics as a subject in standard 10.
  • Students applying for MCA should have 3 years’ bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a mandatory subject
  • Qualifying degree obtained from Distance Method Program should have recognition from Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB.
  • The participant should be of Indian Nationality otherwise they should fulfil the criteria mentioned by the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutes.
  • The aspirant should fulfil local/non-local status requirement as given in the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions.

Application Form of AP ICET 2018

AP ICET Registration is done in online mode. The last date of application form submission is April 01, 2018. No applications received after the deadline.  Students can submit the application form on the official website of AP ICET i.e. http://sche.ap.gov.in.

Participants have to pay an application fee of INR 500. it can be paid by online method via Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking. 

Steps to Apply:

  1. visit the official website i.e. http://sche.ap.gov.in.
  2. Click on the link registration and select your applied program
  3. Fill the application form with all the need information
  4. Upload the scan copy of all the need documents in JPEG pattern
  5. Pay an application fee either of the available modes
  6. Take the print out of application fee for future reference

Exam Format for AP ICET 2018

AP ICET is designed to judge a student’s Aptitude, Mathematical and Verbal ability. The paper is of 200 marks and each question of 1 mark. This is an objective type paper containing multiple choice questions. The marks distribution is given below: No negative marking for an inaccurate response.

Section A: Analytical Ability

  • Problem Solving -55
  • Data Sufficiency -20

Section B: Mathematical Ability

  • Algebraical and Geometrical Ability -30
  • Statistical Ability -10
  • Arithmetical Ability -35

Section C: Communication Ability

  • Reading Comprehension -15
  • Business and Computer Terminology -10
  • Vocabulary -10
  • Functional Grammar -15

Result of AP ICET 2018

AP ICET Result will be declared in the month of May 2018 on the official website of the exam. The result will be declared in the form of ranks and scorecard. Aspirants can check AP ICET Results by entering Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).

  • The rank obtained will be valid for admission in colleges for MBA and MCA in Andhra Pradesh.
  • In case more than one student obtains the same marks, the tie-breaking criteria would be:
  • If the tie persists, age factor will be taken into consideration and older aspirant will be given preference.
  • Considering marks in Section A
  • If the tie is still not broken, marks in Section B will be considered
  • Participants have to obtain at least 50 marks out of 200 to qualify the exam.
