AP LAWCET 2018 Signature and Photograph Specifications

Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur has completely defined guidelines for scanning and uploading photograph and signature in the application form. The state level law entrance examination is scheduled for April 19, 2018.

The registration window for TS LAWCET 2018 becomes functional from the last week of February 2018. While filling the online application form, aspirants must make sure that their photo and signature file meet the parameters set by the authorities. LAWCET Authorities will announce the exam schedule shortly at www.sche.ap.gov.in/lawcet. Failing to do so will result in rejection of the form.

Read on to know the size and pattern in which aspirants have to upload the images.

AP LAWCET 2018 Photo Specifications

  • It should be clicked against a white background.
  • The photograph must not have an aspirant wearing any fancy accessories like glares/sunglasses, caps, or hats.
  • The photograph must not have any red-eye due to flash.
  • The image can either be in color or black & white, preferably in color.
  • Aspirants wearing spectacles must ensure that there are no reflections and their eyes are completely visible in the photograph.
  • The photograph must be recently clicked and of passport size.

APLAWCET 2018 Signature Specifications

Along with the photographs, aspirants need to upload a scanned image of their signature. Listed below are the specifications: The same will be uploaded in TS LAWCET Hall Ticket as a specimen.

  • The signature must be done by the participant and not by any other person.
  • The signature uploaded must match the signature done by an aspirant in the exam. In case of a mismatch, the aspirant will be disqualified.
  • The pixel dimensions of the signature must not exceed 110 x 140 pixel.
  • The signature must be done on a white paper done in black ink.

APLAWCET 2018 Steps to Resize Photo and Signature Image

Scanned images of the photograph and signature can be resized easily by following the steps given below-

Option 1 - Resize photo using Photoshop 

  • Click on Ok button
  • After clicking on the button, check image properties for image size
  • Open the image to be resized
  • Click on the Image drop-down menu and select Image Size
  • Type the dimension in Width and Height box
  • Uncheck the box Constraint Properties

Option 2 - Resize photo using MS Paint 

  • In the toolbar, go to resize option
  • After clicking on the button, check image properties for image size
  • Click Ok button
  • Uncheck “Maintain Aspect Ratio” and readjust the pixels as instructed
  • Open image in MS Paint

AP LAWCET 2018 Photograph and Signature Dos and Dont's

To successfully submit the application form, the following information must be kept in mind.

  • Pictures must not be taken from any smartphone.
  • Abstract and dark backgrounds in the photographs must be avoided.
  • The signature must be done on white paper. Any other background in the signature may lead to rejection.
  • If an aspirant wears glasses regularly, then it must be ensured that there is no undue reflection or glare in the eyes.
  • The face of aspirant (between chin and forehead) must occupy more than 50% area of the photograph.
  • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
  • Do not wear dark/tinted glasses. Only complete glasses are allowed.
  • Aspirant’s face must be completely visible and there must not be any unnecessary shadows or reflections in the image.
  • Pictures to be uploaded must be professionally clicked and should be of high quality.
  • Also, the signature must be done with black ink only. All other variants of inks must be avoided.
