AIPVT Exam Pattern 2018

All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) is scheduled on May 14, 2018. Veterinary Council of India organizes AIPVT for admission to B.V.Sc. AIPVT 2018 exam is an offline based entrance. course. The admission is done on the basis of total 15% seats under All India Quota and the other 85% state-wise quota available on all the recognised institutes enlisted under The Veterinary Council of India across the national level. & A.H.

Exam Format of AIPVT 2018

The exam format consists of the following elaboration:

  • Marking Scheme: There is will a total of 4 marks allotted for every accurate response.
  • Type of Questions: The AIPVT 2018 question paper will consist of total 180 multiple choices based and re-assertion type questions.
  • Language to be used: The medium of language used in the question paper will be English and Hindi.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be subtracted for every wrong response.
  • Time Duration: The total time period of the AIPVT 2018 will be 3 hours.
  • Response Strategy: There will be four options given to every question. Aspirants have to tick one particular option which they think is the accurate option.

Marking Scheme of AIPVT 2018

The marking format includes negative and positive marking. Thus, it is compulsory for the aspirants to attempt all the 180 questions in the question papers. As there is no section-wise cut off allotted for each section of the question paper, there is no good attempt and cut-offs. The aspirants who satisfy both the criteria are applicable for further admission process.

Each accurate attempt will be honoured 4 marks, whereas, each inaccurate responses will be given -1. There is no such marking eligible for un-attempted questions.

Syllabus of AIPVT 2018

The syllabus of AIPVT 2018 will be as per the 10+2 level intermediary science of CBSE standard. Thus, candidates are suggested to follow the NCERT books of the following subjects as it covers all the topics concerned with AIPVT 2018 syllabus. AIPVT 2018 have equal weightage from both the class 11 and class 12 standards.

Important Instructions for AIPVT 2018

The aspirants should strictly follow these instructions to avoid any kind of issue hampering the examination:

  • All disputes regarding the examination and other shall fall within the Jurisdiction of Delhi
  • In the matter of allotments of seats/admission of the aspirant to respective College/Institution, the judgement of the Counseling Committee shall be final.
  • No oral enquiry is entertained. In case, the aspirants have any issue they can contact the authority in writing.
