AILET Application Form 2019

National Law University, Delhi is expected to announce AILET 2019 Application Form in the first week of January 2019. Aspirants have a three-month window duration to apply for the exam in the online method. The payment can be made for the application form both online or offline.

Students in the final year of the exam or those who have finished the undergraduate degree with at least 50% marks are applicable to apply for this exam. The application fee for general category students is INR 3050 and for SC/ST/PwD is INR 1050.  The application procedure consists of three components: registration, uploading images and payment of application fee.

Aspirants who have registered successfully for AILET Exam can download the AILET 2019 Hall Ticket from April 2019. This article explores all the details regarding the AILET 2019 Application Form and its procedure. Note that there is no provision for editing the application form.

AILET 2019 Application Form will be available from January 2019. Aspirants must apply well in advance to avoid any mistakes or last minute rush. The timeline for the AILET application procedure is as follows:

How to Fill AILET Application Form 2019?

In order to apply for AILET 2019, aspirants obligatory to keep some important details and documents that are as follows:

  • Scanned copy of passport size photo
  • Valid email address
  • Credit card/debit card
  • Valid mobile number

Steps to Apply Online for AILET 2019 Exam

Step 1: Registration

  1. Visit the official NLU, Delhi website, i.e.
  2. Click on ‘Apply Online’.
  3. Fill in basic details: aspirant’s email address, name, date of birth, address, gender and mobile number.
  4. After filling out the AILET 2019 Application Form, click on ‘Registration’.
  5. Next, the aspirant will be redirected to the Application Locker page where details obligatory to be confirmed.

Step 2: Fill up AILET 2019 Application Form

  1. Select the college from the list of NLUs and click on ‘Click here to Apply’.
  2. Select the course candidate seekings to apply for from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on ‘Apply Now’.
  4. Next, aspirants will be redirected to online AILET 2019 application form and fill it up.

Step 3: Uploading Images

  1. Scan and upload the passport size photo. The size of the photo should not exceed 150 Kb. The face of the aspirant should cover 75% of the photograph.
  2. The photo can be in jpg., bmp. and gif. pattern.
  3. Click on ‘Save’ and proceed to the payment option.

Step 4: AILET 2019 Application Fee Payment

  1. There are two accepted methods of payment for AILET 2019: offline and online.
  2. For offline payments, participants have to pay the fees at the Post Office.
  3. For online payments, participants can pay the fee using the credit card, debit card or net banking.
  4. Once the payment is made, a confirmation email will be sent to aspirant’s registered email address.
  5. To be on the safe side, aspirants should download the acknowledgment email.

AILET Application Form 2019 Fee Payment

The AILET 2019 application fee can be paid using an online or offline method. If the aspirant fails to pay the fee then the aspirant will be disqualified from the exam. The application fee category wise is as follows:

Methods of Payment

Option 1: Cash Deposit at Post Office

Aspirants can choose to pay the AILET 2019 application form fee at any post office across the country. The process to remit the cash deposit at the post office is as follows:

  1. First, select Cash Deposit option at the Post Office. Click on ‘Proceed’.
  2. Choose City and Discipline of the bank. Two identical deposit slips at the Post Office.
  3. Take a print out of the deposit slip and remit the fee along with the slips at the Post Office.
  4. Submit the application fee, one deposit slip will be kept for post office records and the other with the aspirant.  

Option 2: Online Application Fee Payment

  1. First, select online Payment Gateway option.
  2. Choose the preferred online payment option: credit card, debit card or net banking.
  3. While making credit or debit card payments, aspirants have to enter the card number, CVV number, expiry date and pin number.
  4. Aspirants who select the net baking option then they will be directed to the bank’s website. Enter the account details are confirmed and payment is accepted.
  5. When the payment is clear, the aspirant will receive an acknowledgment slip on the registered email address. Take a copy of the print out of the acknowledgment slip and keep it.
  6. In case, aspirants do not receive an acknowledgment slip within 3 days of payment then contact the admission desk by calling 0120 - 4160880,0120 -4160881 or write an email to   

AILET 2019 Application Form Instructions

The instructions to fill up the AILET 2019 Application Form are as follows:

  1. AILET 2019 Application forms will be available only in the online method.
  2. Aspirants need to generate a registration number or registration id and password in order to fill up the application form.
  3. Aspirants failing to meet the eligibility standards of NLU, Delhi will be disqualified and cannot take the exam.
  4.  Application forms will be accepted only on the receipt of successful payment.
  5. Check the form and make changes before submitting it.
  6. Ensure that the AILET 2019 Application Form is filled before the deadline to avoid any last minute hassles.

Ques. Can you edit the AILET 2019 Application Form post submission?

Ans. No, there is no provision to edit the AILET 2019 Application Form post submission. Aspirants should fill up the form cautiously. Check the form before submitting it.

Ques. Can I get the AILET 2019 Application Form in the offline method?

Ans. No, the application form is only available online and the form is not available offline.

Ques. I am yet to clear class XII. Am I applicable to apply for BA. LL.B (Hons.) course?

Ans. Yes, aspirants appearing for the class XII exam can apply for the BA. LL.B (Hons.).

Ques. How can I retrieve the Registration Number for AILET 2019?

Ans. Aspirants who have forgotten login credentials can reset the password. The steps to reset the password are as follows:

  • Visit the official website
  • Go to the login page
  • Click ‘Forgot Password’
  • Password regeneration page will appear
  • Reset password using OTP method or answering the security question
  • Enter the details and click ‘Submit’
  • Reset your password and login with a new password
  • Ensure that you write down the new password

Ques. I am unable to reach my AILET 2019 Application Form. Can you send the application form through post or online?

Ans. No, there is no provision for the application to be sent to aspirants through email or post. In case there is a specific problem then send across an email to NLU, Delhi.

Ques. What is the admission procedure for International students?

Ans. Five seats are issued to International (foreign) students possessing citizenship from another country. However, in case of vacant seats in the international category will be situated to the general category aspirants as per the merit list. International students obligatory not take AILET 2019 exam.

Ques. Are there any reserved seats in AILET 2019?

Ans. Yes, there are reserved seats in AILET 2019. Ten seats are reserved for international students. 15% of the seats are reserved for SC aspirants, 7.5% of the seats are reserved for ST aspirants and 3% of the seats are reserved for PwD. One seat is reserved for Kashmiri migrants.
