The question paper is set both in English and Hindi. Thus, aspirants must state their preferred language while filling AIIMS MMBS 2018 Application form. Moreover, it is a computer-based test, therefore, no papers are offered for rough work.

The exam format of AIIMS MBBS 2018 is such that the question paper will contain 200 multiple choice questions. The questions will be based on topics from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Awareness covered in class 11 and class 12. Distribution of questions in AIIMS MBBS 2018 exam will be as follows:

Note: As per the official booklet of AIIMS, at least applicable marks for MBBS entrance will be 50 percentile for general category aspirants and 40 percentile for SC/ST category aspirants.
AIIMS MBBS 2018 paper will include multiple choice questions and re-assertion type questions. Out of four options given, select one option which you find is correct. This can be done by clicking on accurate response using virtual keypad. Those who appear for the exam are offerd with Optical Answer Sheet to mark their responses.
