AIIMS (All India Institutes of Medical Sciences) MBBS 2018 Seat Matrix and Counselling for 7 AIIMS

AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) will organize its counseling for MBBS program after the declaration of AIIMS MBBS entrance exam result. Examinees who will qualify AIIMS MBBS 2018 will be called for counseling on the basis of a merit list. The counseling will be organizeed for admissions to 707 MBBS seats situated in 7 AIIMS institutions across the country.

  • Shortlisted aspirants must bring original documents and one photocopy of the documents.
  • A merit list will be declared before every round of counseling.
  • Applicants will practice their choice of the institute during the counseling procedure.
  • AIIMS Counselling will include three rounds and is expected to commence from July 3.
  • AIIMS will announce call letter/ counseling letter in the online method only and it will not be sent through the post.
  • Aspirants will have to be current in person for allotment of seats.
  • AIIMS MBBS Counseling will be organizeed only in offline mode.
  • All the information regarding counseling will be uploaded to the AIIMS exams website i.e.
  • Counseling will also comprise the document verification procedure.

Note: If an aspirant fails to attend the counseling in person, his/her candidature will be cancelled.

Highlights of AIIMS MBBS Counseling 2018

Aspirants will be selected on the basis of merit list which will be prepared in accordance with entrance exam result. The counseling for reserved seats will commence after filling up of all the unreserved seats.

  • In case a seat belonging to reserved category remains vacant, then it will be filled by the aspirant belonging to the same category only.
  • They will practice their choice of the institute during the counseling procedure
  • Aspirants will have to be current in person for seat allotment procedure.

In case of open selection round:

  • If any SC/ST seat remains vacant that transferred to General category aspirants
  • In case of any OB, seat remains vacant, it will also be transferred to General category aspirants
  • If any Scheduled Tribe seat remains vacant then it will be transferred to Scheduled Caste category and vice versa.

Counseling Process for AIIMS MBBS 2018

AIIMS MBBS Counseling 2018 will be organizeed in three rounds and will commence from July 3, 2018. The counseling will follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Aspirants who will qualify AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination will be called for counseling on the basis of the merit list.
Step 2: Shortlisted aspirants have to visit in person to attend the counseling as per their schedule allotted against their rank.
Step 3: Counseling will comprise instituteโ€™s choice filling and document verification procedure.

Step 4:  Selection will be followed by fee submission.

AIIMS MBBS Counseling 2018- Important Documents Need
Aspirants who are applying to participate in AIIMS MBBS Counseling 2018 have to bring the following documents:

  • Migration Certificate
  • Passport size photographs- 6
  • AIIMS MBBS 2018 Hall Ticket
  • Date of Birth proof
  • Call letter alloted by AIIMS
  • One set of self-attested copies of all certificates
  • Class XII Mark sheet
  • Certificate from the prescribed authority showing that aspirant belongs to SC/ST/OBC categories
