About College
Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women was established by the donations from Cork Industries Charities Trust and Mr. Nanalal Bhatt. It is situated on a 10 acre land in Chromepet, Chennai. The college provides 22 UG courses, 9 PG courses and 10 Research programmes. Some courses are self-financed and some are Aided courses. College has a state-of-the-art auditorium which can accommodate 2000 people. It is one of the largest auditoriums in Chennai. The college is also equipped with hostel and media block too.

The college is equipped with 7 laboratories that are well established to carry out research and experiments. The library of the college has 36298 books and many journals too. Virtual library facility is also available 24*7.
E-Cell:
- College also has an entrepreneurship development cell that helps in learning different arts like Embroidery, jewel making, etc., so that after educating from college, girls can become self-employed.
