About College
Shambhunath Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET), Allahabad was started in 2004 by Dr. D. N Tiwari. It is a venture of Shambhunath Group of Institutions & managed by UTTHAN, NGO founded by Dr. D. N Tiwari in 1996. It is a self financed institute. It is located at Jhalwa near the main city of Allahabad.

- It is affiliated by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow
Extra Curricular Activities:
- UTTHAN – It was formed under the guidance of Dr. D. N Tiwari in 1986 and works for poverty eradication through social development. Its projects cover distressed migration areas; backward, inaccessible areas with poor community and areas with deficits in food, nutrition and health support.
- UTTHAN Green Youth Club – It is a part of UTTHAN that is working intensively to promote ‘Rain Water. It creates awareness through community participation for rejuvenating underground water. It has also developed a ‘Theme Park’ which is first in its kind in Uttar Pradesh.
