About College

PSG College of Technology is one of the leading technical colleges providing quality education in the nation. The college was established in the year 1951 by the Dr G R Damodaran. It is located in the city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The college offers several full-time and part-time courses for the subjects such as Engineering, Science and Management                   

• The college is accredited by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)
• PSG College of Technology is affiliated to Anna University
• PSG College of Technology is a recognized QIP CENTER for Postgraduate and Ph.D Programs
• Notable alumni from the college are Mylswamy Annadurai (Currently holding Position for Programe Director IRS & SSS), K. Pandiarajan (Director of Mafoi Consultants), Shiv Nadar (Chairman and CSO of HCL Technologies)
• In past, college was under the strong supervision of professional personals namely Dr R Subbayyan, Dr K Venkataraman, Dr A Shanmugasundaram, Dr S Subramanyan, Dr P Radhakrishnan and Dr S Vijayarangan as Principals
• The college provides opportunity for doing Internship in overseas such as Australia, USA, Dubai, Grenoble in France and Stuttgart in Germany
• Each department organizes National and International Conferences, Workshops, Meetings and Seminars every year.
• The college has several advanced centers such as CII - TDB TNET Centre, Educational Technology Centre and PROJECT IMPACT Centre. These centers received financial support from the Ministry of Human Resource Development and other organizations.
• An independent placement office of the college placed its students in 90+ reputed National and Multinational companies
• The infrastructures of college are Hostels, Library, Staff Quarters, Student Hostels, Play Grounds and Gardens and the total area of campus is 45 acres.

Academics: PSG College of Technology is affiliated to Anna University. It has 15 engineering and Technology Departments. In addition to these academic departments, college also features Network Maintenance Cell and Computer Maintenance Cell.
