Gitanjali Medical College (GMC) is a private medical college situated in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The batches up to 2011 are affiliated to the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences which organizes the examinations.Batches 2012 and onwards are affiliated to the Geetanjali University, which was founded in 2011.

The college provides several courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, paramedical diploma and courses at Research level to the aspiring students who seek to pursue their career in the field of Medical Science.

Admission in MBBS and BDS is done via NEET UG, and for MD and MS applicable aspirants will have to appear in NEET PG. for admission in other courses, aspirants are selected on the basis of marks scored in last qualifying examination.

GMC MBBS and BDS Admission 2018

GMC provides Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) to the aspirants who seeking to pursue their career in the field of Medical and Dental respectively. The college also provides Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in six Medical specializations. The courses, thus provided, are for 5.5 years and 4 years for MBBS and BDS, and for B.Sc the time duration depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the applicable aspirants.

Admission in MBBS and BDS is done via NEET UG. Applicable aspirants will have to appear in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) organized by CBSE. Those who aspire to give entrance test can visit the official website of NEET

GMC Post Graduate Medical Admission 2018

At postgraduate level, Geetanjali Medical College provides Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) in different specializations each. Apart from MD and MS, the college also provides Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) and Post Graduate Diploma in several specializations. The period duration for each of the specializations is three years.

Applicable aspirants will have to appear in NEET Post Graduate organized by the National Board of Education (NBE) for admission in MD and MS. GMC Paramedical Diploma Admission 2018

Apart from regular Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses, the college also provides Paramedical Diploma courses in Operation Theatre Technology, Radiation Technology, Ophthalmic Technology, Dialysis Technician and Medical Lab Technician for a period of two years. The intake capacity for each of the specializations is 25 seats.

Aspirants must have studied and passed 10+2 level or equivalent in relevant branch. Admission will be made based on the scores obtained in last qualifying exam.

GMC Ph.D Admission 2018

Geetanjali Medical college also provides Ph.D. full time and Ph.D. part-time to the aspiring students who seek to do research in the field of Medical Science. The period periods are 3 years and 5 years respectively.

In order to get admission in Ph.D., aspirants must hold a Master’s Degree in relevant branch. However, applicable aspirants can get admission on the basis of marks obtained in last qualifying examination.
