About College

Doon Valley College of Education is the pioneer Institution in the field of teacher education. It is a full fledged college imparting one year full time programme in B.Ed. Doon Valley College of Education is governed by a group of educational charitable Society, which was formed with the aim of delivering quality education. The college is being run under two educational societies, namely Maharani Lakshmi Bai Memorial Educational Society and Chaudhary Charan Singh Memorial Educational Society. The Societies have been named in the honour of stalwarts Ch. Charan Singh and Maharani Lakshmi Bai.

•  Infrastructure – The College has magnificent building and airy classrooms that helps to study and concentrate on the subject. A serene atmosphere providing calm and peaceful environment to study and share thoughts with one another.

• Well stacked Library- The library is stacked with 15000 books written by Foreign and Indian Authors on different subjects. National newspapers in Hindi and English are subscribed. The best thing about the library is, it remain open on holidays.  

• Well equipped laboratory- The College has well equipped E.T. lab, Science lab, Psychology lab and a Computer Lab.

• High tech computer lab- The lab has new generation computers having high processing speed and internet facility that helps students to free their hands on computer.

• Hostel facility- The hostel facility is separate for boys and girls. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Every hostel has a common room provided with phone, TV and indoor games.
