Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Government Engineering College New Delhi college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). It is the only college in Delhi after Delhi Technological University (DTU) to offer B.Tech in Environmental Engineering.

The college provides B.Tech in 3 specializations. Aspirants applying for B.Tech must have passed HSC in PCM with minimum 55% marks. The aspirant must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.
For admission, aspirants have to take IPU-CET 2018. The admissions would be offered based on the merit/rank in the entrance exam.

All the aspirants shall fill application forms for CET only via online mode. The application form along with the fee of INR 1000 excluding procedures charges and taxes, as eligible, shall be paid online by Debit Card/Net Banking or by Challan. The application form is available on the University website.
After CET results, the aspirants will have to sit for an offline counseling organized by IPU. Aspirants can pay the fee online or by Challan. For depositing the counseling participation fee, the aspirant has to visit GGSIP University admission website and select the option for “payment of counseling participation fee”, enter CET details viz CET Roll No, Date of Birth and Mobile Number.
The aspirants need to check the status of fee payment on the website and must take the printout of online fee confirmation receipt with the transaction details, to be retained for all future reference. In the case of payment of fee via Challan, the aspirant must retain the copy of the Challan after depositing the fees.
The college provides a variety of scholarships:
Merit Scholarship: Merit Scholarship will be offered to students securing 80% and above marks in the earlier exam. Application form for the availing scholarship can be accessed from the college website.
Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship: Merit-cum-Means Scholarship will be offered to all students securing 70% and above marks with annual Family/Parental income up to INR 2 Lakhs. The scholarship will only be offered if the claim is duly supported by Affidavit or income certificate, countersigned/allowed by related SDM office. Additionally, the college provides SC/ST/ Minorities, EWS (Economical Weaker Section) and SC/ST/OBC Merit Scholarship as well. Application form for availing any of these scholarships can be accessed from the college website.
85% seats are reserved for Delhi Region Aspirants, i.e. those who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/Institute situated in NCT of Delhi. These seats will be filled up via the merit /rank list of CETs prepared for Delhi Region aspirants.
Aspirants belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ Persons with Disability will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in the at least eligibility requirement
One seat, which will be supernumerary in nature is earmarked for Kashmiri migrants.
