Yenepoya University (YU) was founded in 2008 which is certified by NAAC with ‘A’ grade under section 3 of UGC Act 1956. The main focus of the university is to give reach to quality education to the students. The university covers different aspects of the educational arena which offer students with numerous options to explore. The Yenepoya University is the first private University in the District of Dakshin Kannada.
University provides undergraduate, MBBS/BDS programmes in its constituent colleges, namely Yenepoya Medical College and Yenepoya Dental College which are discussed below:

Admission to the above-mentioned programmes is via merit in the YUUGET-2018 entrance test.
YUUGET-2018 is “Yenepoya University under Graduate Entrance Test” organizeed for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in YU Medical and Dental college.
Aspirants can register themselves by submitting an examination fee of Rs. 1000/- via DD.

MBBS
Eligibility
The aspirant must have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General aspirants (40% for SC/ST/OBC aspirants).
Aspirants must have passed two-year Pre University Examination or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognised by State/Central government with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subject.
BDS
Eligibility
The aspirant must have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General aspirants (40% for SC/ST/OBC aspirants).

Age limit eligibility
The aspirant should have finished 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

BDS & MBBS
Aspirants can download the application form from the university website and Administrative Office of Yenepoya University.
Aspirants have to submit Rs 1000/- for entrance examination fee via DD in favour of “Yenepoya University” payable at Mangaluru.

150 seats are reserved for MBBS programme and 100 seats are reserved for BDS programme.
