Yenepoya University is a university in South Karnataka which is approved by UGC and the Ministry of Human Resource. It is the first private university in the district of Dakshin Kannada. Its main aim is to imbibe the best health care education, in the true spirit of global learning. It offers both under-graduation and post-graduation courses in different fields of learning.

The university offers three courses at post-graduate level โ€“ Masters in Social Work, Master of Physiotherapy and Masters in Hospital Administration. Admission in these programmes is via qualifying examination only.

Aspirants who satisfy the eligibility can register themselves via filling the application form and making the registration payment as asked by the university.

Eligibility Criteria for MPT, MSW and MHA Program

Master in Hospital Administration [MHA]

  • The aspirants should have the bachelor degree in MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. Nursing/B. Pharmacy/B.Sc. in Allied Health Sciences from a recognised university with an at least of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST aspirants).

Master of Social Work [MSW]

  • The aspirants should hold a bachelorโ€™s degree in any branch from a recognised university with an at least of 50% aggregate.

Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Neurosciences), Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Orthopaedics) & Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Paediatric- Physiotherapy)

  • The aspirants should hold a bachelor degree Physiotherapy (BPT) with an at least aggregate of 50%

Application Procedure for MPT, MSW and MHA Program

Master of Hospital Administration [MHA], Master of Social Work [MSW] & Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Neurosciences)

  1. Aspirants can get the application form both online and offline. Application forms are available at the Office of the Registrar or can be downloaded from the official website of the university- www.yenepoya.edu.in.
  2. Application forms are also available at the Administrative Office of Yenepoya University.
  3. After the application form is filled in all respects, they should pay the registration fee, which can be paid via Demand Draft (DD) or in hand cash at the Office of Registrar.
  4. Registration fees for these courses of Yenepoya University are INR 300.
  5. Demand draft should be made in favor of Yenepoya University, Mangalore, payable at Mangalore along with the duly filled application form to the Admission Manager, Yenepoya University-575018.
  6. The aspirants should attach the following copies of documents along with the duly filled application form and demand draft:
  • Eligibility Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (for SC/ST)
  • Mark sheet and Certificates of 10th and 10+2 and bachelor degree.
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate

The same original documents should be submitted to the college at the time of final admission.

Selection Procedure for MPT, MSW and MHA Program

Master of Social Work [MSW], Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Neurosciences) & Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Orthopaedics)

  • The selection is entirely based on the norms of the competent authority of the university.
  • After completing the registration procedure by filling the application form in all respects and making the registration fee, the university will generate a ranking list of the selected students.

Notes

  • Hostels are offered separately for men and women with a capacity of 500.
  • Yenepoya University has adopted two nearby villages and takes care of the health services there.
