Xavier University, commonly known as XUB, is a Jesuit Catholic Indian University situated in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, India. The University is considered as the first full-digitalized University of India by many.
The University, which was founded in 2013, is known for providing Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral degrees in different courses to its students. The University offers these degrees in six main areas, also known as the Schools of the University.
They are, the Xavier Institute of Business Management (XIMB), the Xavier School of Human Resource Management (XaHR), the Xavier School of Rural Management (XSRM), the Xavier School of Sustainability (XSOS), the Xavier School of Communications (XCOMM), and the Xavier School of Commerce (XSC).
Students want admission in any of the Undergraduate programs provided by the University required to apply for the same by filling an application form followed by an Online Admission test and/or Individual/ Skype Interview.
The University prepares the final result by judging students on their performance in the Admission test, individual Interview, and their past academic records.
The students of the University are offered with many facilities like Hostel accommodations, regular conferences, internship opportunities and so on.

Note: Along with BBM programs, students need to choose an Honors course. Honors courses are provided by the University in Finance, Human Resource Management, Accounting, and Marketing.

Students want admission in any of the Undergraduate courses provided by the University must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (Class 10+2) from a recognised Board/ Council.
For B.Sc. in Mass Communication, BBM, and B.Com: The students must have passed Higher Secondary examination with minimum 55% marks.
For B.Sc. in HD, SD, and SST: The students should have passed Higher Secondary Examination with minimum 60% marks.
For integrated MBA: In Sustainability Management, students who are to continue their program at postgraduate level, they should secure a 1st class distinction in the Bachelor’s degree.
Students need to apply online in order to get admission in the University. The date for Admission test depends on the course students are opting for. Otherwise, their applications can get rejected.
The students should make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria before applying. The details of the same are intimated to students via an e-mail. The applicable aspirants will have to appear in an online Admission Test/ individual interview. the application form for the same is available on the official website of XUB.
Therefore, students required to offer a valid e-mail id as well as a phone number. Further, shortlisted listed students are called for an Individual/ Skype Interview.
For B. Com/BBM aspirants, the selection is based on merit basis of their performance in Class 10th & 12th examinations.
For B. Sc in Mass Communication aspirants, the selection is based on the result of the online admission test. The dates for the same are intimated to students via an e-mail sent to their registered e-mail id.
Finally, a list is prepared by the University on the basis of students' performance in their online Admission test and the individual interview. Hence, non-domicile students are given priority when it comes to allocation of hostel rooms.
Note: The students applicable for selection in B.Sc. in HD, SD, and SST required to submit a Statement of purpose along with their application followed by a Skype Interview.The past academic records of students are also taken into account.
The University also judges students on their Domain knowledge, performance in Co-curricular activities, Sustainability Aptitude, and General Awareness.
Selected students finally need to report to the University with need fees and documents for the final admission. After the test results are released, shortlisted students are expected to go via an individual or a Skype Interview. After the payment is made successfully and verification of all the documents is finished, students are allotted with a seat as well as a hostel room (if need).
The hostel accommodation is limited in numbers.
50% of the seats in the University are reserved for Orissa Domicile. Though, if the seats are left vacant, general students can be admitted as per the University's judgment.
