The admission to different Bachelor’s and Master’s programs are provideed by the University is done based on a suitable All India Level Common Entrance Examinations (CEE) organizeed by the University every year. The procedure of CEEs and admission cover provides PG Degree programs provideed by the University in its different institutions.

Eligibility for VMU PG Admission 2018

M.Sc (Nursing)

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc.

  • Aspirants want admission in M.Sc. should have a degree in BSc Nursing or its Equivalent/ B.Sc. Hon. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with at least of 55% marks from any institute recognised by Indian Nursing Council.
  • Aspirants must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council
  • Aspirants must have at least one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) and at least of one year experience prior or after PB.B.Sc. Nursing.
  • 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST aspirants will be given.


Eligibility Criteria for M.Pharm.

  • Aspirants want admission in M.Pharm. from a recognised institute or university.
must have a degree in B.Pharm.

Master of Physiotherapy(MPT)

Eligibility Criteria for M.P.T.

  • The aspirants want admission in M.P.T. should pass in BPT or BSc (PT) from a recognised institute or university.

How To Apply for Vinayaka Mission University PG Admission 2018?

There are three ways of procuring application material for admission to M.PHIL. programs in Vinayaka Mission University, the following are the ways:

  • By Post - Aspirants may apply by sending a request with demand draft which should comprise notified extra amount covering postage. shall be submitted in person or by post, so as to be received by the addressee January 21, 2018 (tentative).

  • On-line: Aspirants may apply by downloading the application form along with instructions from the relevant pages of the website and printing it out.

The filled in application forms clear with attested photos, signed declarations, need enclosures etc.

Selection Procedure of VMU (Vinayaka Mission University) PG Admission 2018

M.Sc, M.Pharm & Master of Physiotherapy(MPT)

  • Subsequent counselling may be arranged for filling seats that may remain unfilled or fall vacant, before the last date for completing the procedure.
  • All applicable aspirants will be sent with Admit Cards / Hall Tickets for the relevant CEE so as to be received well before the test date, only to the address quoted in the Application. 
  • Aspirants procuring above a prescribed cut-off mark will be called insufficient number for counselling in which Specializations / Disciplines and Institutions of study will be selected by the aspirants and provisionally allotted, as per availability, eligibility, reservation if any, etc., after verification of original certificates.
  • The provisional selection will be confirmed and the aspirant will be admitted on payment of fees.
  • The response sheets, in the MSR (Mark Sense Readable) form, will be normally evaluated by computer, unless the number is small. 
  • Aspirants will be taking the examination at their own cost and care as per the norms of the University.
  • The aspirants will be ranked as per their marks in CEE, breaking ties if any using the prescribed procedure.

Important Notes of VMU (Vinayaka Mission University) PG Admission 2018

About Common Entrance Examination(CEE):

  • The aspirants who are applicable as per the criteria of the university are enabled to take the CEEs at opted centres. 
  • There are negative marks for wrong responses in the case of Post Graduate program.
  • The questions in the CEE are of objective type based on at least syllabi expected to be covered normally by the different universities/boards pertaining to the respective qualifying examinations at all India level.
